This November, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, a leader in luxury hospitality worldwide, has completed its recent room renewal program with the revelation of its crowning jewels - 11 newly renovated Imperial Suites. Designed by famed French interior architect Sybille de Margerie, the new Imperial Suites were created with the surrounding natural landscape in mind, inspired by the sorbet hues of the sunset on the Arabian Gulf, the winds that sway shady palm fronds and the orange desert sands found on the city's outskirts, offering a modernised luxury suite experience.

Karim Abdelhamid has been appointed as Cluster Hotel Manager at InterContiental Hotels at Dubai Festival City

Abdelhamid will be managing InterContinental Dubai Festival City, InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai Festival City, and Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City and Festival Arena. He will be responsible for establishing new operational and commercial synergies for the hotels to improve financial performance. He will be manage properties consisting of 1,088 keys and 10 F&B venues. Abdelhamid brings with him close to 20 years' experience with senior leadership roles, having previously worked at the Ritz-Carlton in New York City as F&B manager, resort manager at Marriot International and sales and service manager at The Plaza Hotel in New York again. His experience in the region includes being part of the pre-opening team for Sofitel Cataract in Egypt.

Nadim El Zyr has been appointed as Cluster General Manager at Rotana

Rotana Hotel Management Corporation announced recently that Nadim El Zyr had been appointed as the Cluster General Manager for Hala Arjaan by Rotana alongside his current profile as the General Manager of Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana. The dual Lebanese-Canadian national is the son of Rotana's visionary co-founder, Selim El Zyr, and is a graduate of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.

Claudia Pittau has been appointed as Guest Service Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City

Claudia originally from Sardinia Italy, joins the hotel after spending four years in London where she started as a Receptionist at Hilton until leaving as Guest Relations Manager at InterContinental London - The O2.In her new role Claudia will support the management of the front office, Spa & Leisure operations by creating memorable moments for the guests visiting the Radisson Blu Hotel property located in the heart of Dubai Media City.

Anita Russell has been appointed as Human Resources Director at Fairmont The Palm

Russell will be responsible for helping the hotel grow its pool of trained staff and she will direct the hotel with new system implementations. Russell has more than 23 years of expertise, previously acting as coordinator at Crowne Plaza in Australia and then the recruitment manager at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). She made her entry into the GCC region when she was appointed as HR director at IHG and later The Jumeirah Group Luxury Hotels & Resorts. She was then made HR director at Emaar Hospitality Group, then talent manager at a leading retail company. She finally settled at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, having completed six years as HR director for Fairmont Dubai. She now joins The Palm venue in her latest role.
