Brian Gore has been appointed as Commercial Director at Birch Hotels Ltd.

Brian Gore has been appointed as Commercial Director of Birch Hotels Ltd which has two hotels, the award winning Birch (Cheshunt) which opened in 2020 and Birch (Selsdon) which is in soft launch until the end of this month. Gore will oversee the sales, marketing, branding and revenue & distribution of the lifestyle brand's business, particularly the commercial launch of its second property Birch (Selsdon) along with its further plans for growth. Birch (Selsdon) in South London, which amongst other facilities has London's newest major rewilding project across 200-acres of land, regenerating it back to its natural state for guests to (re)discover natural habitats, flora and fauna. Gore will also be responsible for championing the brand essence of sustainability, responsible business and a low carbon footprint. In addition, he will oversee development of the digital guest journey and online experience as well as collaborating with MARGARET on the effective and continual communication of the brand through PR and social channels. Brian is a commercial marketing, branding and digital pioneer who has amassed more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he was Vice President of Brand, Marketing & Digital at The Set Collection. Previous to this, he has held key positions for brands including Mandarin Oriental, Bulgari Hotels & Residencies, The Langham, London and The Leading Hotels of the World.

Gianluca Priori has been named General Manager at Carlton Tower Jumeirah and Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel

Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hospitality company and member of Dubai Holding, has named Gianluca Priori as General Manager of The Carlton Tower Jumeirah, the group's flagship hotel located in the fashionable district of London's Knightsbridge. Priori's remit will also include the neighbouring Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, located near London's royal Hyde Park and Harrods department store.
