Ibizan Restaurant Zela To Launch At ME London

This Autumn, ZELA restaurant will be jetting in to London, bringing a unique blend of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine, craft cocktails and slick service with Ibizan beats. ZELA London follows ZELA Ibiza, the acclaimed flagship restaurant which launched in May 2017 in the prestigious Marina Botafoch neighbourhood on the White Isle. ZELA's London home will be in London's vibrant West End, with a 100-cover restaurant at the ME London Hotel on The Strand in Covent Garden.

Michael Musgrave has been appointed as General Manager at Apex City of Bath Hotel

A brand new General Manager has joined the team at the city's largest hotel - Apex City of Bath Hotel. Experienced hotelier, Michael Musgrave, will lead the team at the four-star property in the heart of Bath. His appointment comes hot on the heels of the hotel announcing a strong first year of conference and events success, which was capped with a place on the shortlist for 'Best Hotel' at this month's C&IT Awards.

Andrew Sangster has been named Conference Co-Chair at Hotel Investment Conference Europe (Hot.E)

Hotel Investment Conference Europe (Hot.E) is pleased to announce that Andrew Sangster, the founder of ZeroTwoZero Communications Ltd, has joined Hot.E as its new Conference Co-Chair. In his role as Co-Chair, Mr. Sangster will work in tandem with Jim Burba, Burba Hotel Network (BHN), and the planning committee to shape the content and direction of Hot.E.Mr. Sangster launched Hotel Analyst more than 15 years ago and it has grown into a publishing business that now encompasses a paid subscription service for hotel investors and a reports division. In addition, Hotel Analyst produces three uniquely niched London-based conferences: The Hotel Distribution Event; The Hotel Alternatives Event; and the Hotel Operations Conference. Andrew has been a journalist for his entire career, starting out on trade press titles before joining the national press and a brief spell at the BBC. He launched his own business focused on providing high level information on a subscription basis after despairing at the quality of what the old business model of selling advertising space was producing. Andrew holds a BSc in economics and a MA in journalism. He lives in Cambridge with his wife and three children.

Sarah Barber has joined The Dorchester as executive pastry chef

The Dorchester welcomes Sarah Barber as executive pastry chef, bringing with her two decades of knowledge overseeing award-winning patisserie menus across London. In her new role, Sarah leads a brigade of 19 chefs and bakers, creating the afternoon tea within the world-renowned Promenade, as well as perfecting pastries for weddings, parties and events throughout the hotel.Inspired by her grandfather who was a professional chef, and taking influence from traditional British sweet treats from her childhood, Sarah's modern day patisseries encompass classic nostalgic flavours with a refined sense of elegance. Jamie Vaughan has been appointed as Head of European Sales at Cvent, Inc.

Cvent, Inc., a market leader in meetings, events, and hospitality technology, has announced the hiring of Jamie Vaughan as Head of European Sales for Cvent's Event Cloud platform, which offers the solutions organisations need to automate and simplify the entire event planning process and maximize the impact of their meetings programme. Vaughan has nearly 20 years of experience in the European event technology and software-as-a-service (SaaS) spaces and will be based at Cvent's European HQ in London.As the Head of European Sales for Cvent's Event Cloud, Vaughan will drive the growth strategy in Europe and lead the regional sales teams as they expand their customer base and deliver Cvent technology to new markets and customers. His efforts will also include supporting the opening of Cvent's first office in Germany later this year. Vaughan has held senior positions at event technology companies including Glisser and Eventbase. Prior to those roles, Vaughanlaunched and built a number of successful SaaS brands.

Corinthia Hotels, the collection of luxury, five-star hotels around the world, has appointed a Brand Communications Manager, Camilla Colley, to lead the development and implementation of the Corinthia communications strategy internationally.Based in London, Camilla Colley joins Corinthia Hotels today, September 10th 2018, and will focus both on the hotel company's existing portfolio and new launches. She will report directly to Rebecca Barrie, Senior Director - Marketing.Camilla has held a variety of senior PR and Communications positions, most recently as Senior Account Manager at Travel PR, a travel and lifestyle PR company where she worked on, among others, Pride of Britain Hotels, Hoshino Resorts, The Grange Hotel and the Eden Hotel Collection.Camilla's wealth of knowledge and expertise will enable her to evolve the brand communications function across the group.
