By bringing an experiential, farm-to-fork culture to culinary operations at Oak Brook Hills Resort, Victor is setting out to change the way people think about hotel food outside the city.

Multi-million Dollar, Full-scale Renovation Underway For Hyatt Regency Deerfield

Phase one of a multi-million dollar, full-scale renovation is underway on the Hyatt Regency Deerfield, a luxury, full-service hotel located just minutes from downtown Chicago and O'Hare International Airport. The project caters to the Hyatt Regency brand loyalists' desire for 24/7 connectivity and comfort with 300 completely revamped guestrooms and suites, r efreshed, tech-enabled meeting space, updated common areas including guestroom hallways, and lobby, as well as the property's signature restaurant and bar, Jaxx Bistro and Jaxx Lounge. Phase one, which includes a $14 million redo of all guestrooms, is slated for completion by April 2019, while phase two commences in the fall of 2019, and will include the remainder of the interior enhancements. The property will remain open during renovation.

In this role, Zacker will be responsible for all aspects of hotel distribution sales and retention for both CWT clients and new external markets.Based in Chicago, Zacker joined RoomIt and the CWT business finance organization last June, as Vice President of finance for RoomIt. He will remain a member of the RoomIt leadership team.Prior to joining CWT, Zacker spent 18 years with Travelport in various roles, including Vice President of Global Sales. Over the past 25-plus years of his career, he has held numerous business development and finance positions.

Kucuk's versatile operational background with his transformational leadership style grant him a unique perspective on the industry.After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management at Bilkent University in his native city of Ankara, Turkey, Kucuk moved to the United States to further his education. His choice of Chicago proved to be a pivotal decision in his career. Since completing his MBA from the Stuart Graduate School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Kucuk has gone on to work at a number of Chicago-area hotels and has called the city home for close to 15 years. Kucuk's hospitality experience also comprises properties outside of Chicago, including San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta and Phoenix.In 2014, Kucuk began his journey with Two Roads Hospitality at Hotel Lincoln as general manager, which was honored as one of the "Best Places to Work" by the Chicago Tribune during his tenure there. He then continued his path as general manager at another Two Roads Hospitality hotel, The Camby, Autograph Collection in Phoenix.
