Flynt Payne has been appointed as General Manager at Mauna Lani Point, The Islands at Mauna Lani, Champion Ridge and The Residences of Laule’a

Payne joins Destination Residences Hawaii with an extensive career in resort leadership. As general manager, Payne oversees the management and operation of properties in the Kona-Kohala portfolio, comprising Mauna Lani Point, The Islands at Mauna Lani, Champion Ridge, estate home management at The Cape at Mauna Lani, and association management throughout Mauna Lani Resort, including The Residences of Laule'a. Prior to his role at Destination Residences Hawaii, Payne served in senior leadership positions for luxury resorts and private clubs in Mexico, Colorado, Oregon and Hawaii. On Maui, Payne assisted with the launch of Montage Kapalua Bay, leading the resort through the transition from a distressed property into one of Hawaii's premier luxury destinations. Most recently, Payne worked with Sunriver Resort in Bend, Oregon, where he was active in leading the charge in sustainability efforts by forming a dedicated committee on the topic, and also spent time at The Sebastian Vail in Vail, Colorado.

As a Certified Manager of Associations (CMCA) and as an Association Management Specialist (AMS), Sisneros boasts a robust history of leading association management with more than 70 associations in Hawaii and is a subject matter expert in local condominium and community association councils. She provides a wealth of expertise to Destination Residences Hawaii as it pertains to association managing agent duties and compliance with State of Hawaii statutes, in addition to maintaining the condition and value of the property, from the common areas of the resort grounds to ensuring proper financial planning for the property. With a combined 20 years of experience in real estate and construction throughout Hawaii and Oregon, Sisneros' professional background includes serving as general partner for Island Property Consulting, and additional roles as vice president of operations for an association management firm on Maui and co-owner and operator of a general construction company.

Anderson brings over 20 years of Honolulu hospitality experience to the Prince Resorts Hawaii collection. Most recently, she served as director of sales and marketing at the Queen Kapi'olani Hotel, where she led the property's re-branding and re-positioning. Previously, Anderson has held sales and marketing roles at notable hotels and visitors bureaus throughout Honolulu including The Modern Honolulu, Hotels and Resorts of Halekulani, Oahu Visitors Bureau and Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Hargrove brings 14 years of hospitality experience to the Prince Resorts Hawaii collection. His background spans positions at notable hotels throughout the Hawaiian Islands including The Modern Honolulu, The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa in Kona. Most recently, Hargrove, as hotel manager at The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas in Lahaina, was responsible for overall strategy, performance and leadership of the operations team. Throughout his career, Hargrove has won numerous certifications and leadership awards and currently serves as part of the hospitality & tourism advisory board at the University of Hawaii Maui College.

Outrigger Hospitality Group celebrated the official grand opening of the all-new Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger - marking the brand's first lifestyle hotel in the center of Waikiki. Following an extensive $35 million modernization, the "by Outrigger" property has reinterpreted this iconic address as a contemporary Hawaii beach house. The entirely new street presence is replete with driftwood cedar, sea glass tiles, native puka stone and basalt lava rock - all framed by a dramatically lush multi-story green-wall; the interior complements the beach house theme with modern guest rooms, a coastal-inspired lobby, expanded pool deck, new meeting venues and more. The hip lobby-level restaurants, Maui Brewing Co. and Hawaiian Aroma Caffe, now flow seamlessly with the modern design, offering exceptional food and drink in contemporary, cool spaces. The celebratory event, April 29 at Waikiki Beachcomber, commenced with a traditional Hawaiian blessing by Kumu Blaine Kia and Kahu Kaipo Ho. A ceremonial maile-lei untying was done by Jeff Wagoner, Outrigger Hospitality Group's president and CEO, alongside Ike Cockett, the hotel's general manager. A star-studded grand-opening bash followed with live music by Makana, the award-winning musician who created the hotel's bespoke signature sound.

R.D. Olson Construction, an award-winning general contracting firm in California, today announced the ground-up construction of AC Hotel Wailea, a 70,000-square-foot, four-story estate hotel located on the southside of Maui County in Wailea. Andrew Spinelli has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Turtle Bay Resort, Oahu

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has appointed Andrew Spinelli director of food and beverage for Turtle Bay Resort, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property located on Oahu's North Shore. Jerry Gibson, Benchmark's vice president and managing director for the resort, made the announcement. Andrew Spinelli was previously general manager for BLT Steak Waikiki. He also served as a trainer at the corporate level for the BLT Restaurants organization, supporting operations in Seoul, Tokyo, Las Vegas and locations in Hawaii. Prior to this Mr. Spinelli worked with BeOurGuest Restaurants, including the company's Ocean Grill, Ruby Foos, Blue Water Grill and Dos Caminos locations. Mr. Spinelli is a graduate of Fordham University in New York City where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York, where he earned his Associate's degree in the Culinary Arts.
