Mark Sanders has been appointed as General Manager at New York Hilton Midtown

Hilton has announced the appointment of Mark Sanders as the general manager of the iconic 1,878-room New York Hilton Midtown, which is owned by Park Hotels & Resorts and managed by Hilton. In his new role, Sanders is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the city's hotel with the largest hotel meeting space footprint, including the largest ballroom in the destination. Sanders joins New York Hilton Midtown from Highgate Hotels & Resorts where he served as managing director and led hotel operations for The Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan Hotel, an IHG hotel.

Cambria Hotels Debuts in Connecticut

(NYSE: CHH)—is adding New Haven, Connecticut to its growing lineup of coast to coast properties following today's opening of the Cambria Hotel New Haven University Area. The opening of the six-story, 130-room hotel is the brand's first property in Connecticut and joins the recently added Cambria Hotel Boston Somerville as well as soon-to-open Cambria Hotel Portland Downtown Old Port and Cambria Hotel Manchester South Windsor to fuel Cambria's rapid expansion across New England this year.

Christopher Goluszka has been named Pastry Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston

The award-winning, AAA Five-Diamond Ritz-Carlton, Boston, located in downtown and across from the historic Boston Common, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Goluszka as Pastry Chef. Drawing upon experience acquired in pastry departments in some of the leading luxury hotels in the United States and independent restaurants in Boston, Goluszka will oversee all pastry operations for The Ritz-Carlton. He will design and curate desserts for the hotel's onsite food and beverage outlets including Artisan Bistro and Avery Bar, and will also oversee menu creation and desserts for banquets and social functions, in-room dining, and guest amenities.
