From his very early days of learning the secrets of a perfect New Orleans roux in his “Maw Maws” kitchen to celebrated chef with winning appearances on Food Network’s® Cutthroat Kitchen and Guy’s Grocery Games, Chef Miller now brings his bold flavors and diverse experience from around the US to the dining portfolio at the Sheraton Bay Point Resort. Franck Steigerwald has been appointed as Executive Chef at St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort

The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Bal Harbour, Fla., appointed Franck Steigerwald as executive chef. Steigerwald will oversee all culinary operations including the luxury resort’s newest restaurant concept Atlantikós, along with BH Burger Bar, The St. Regis Bar & Sushi Lounge, La Gourmandise, in-room dining, weddings and events. The French chef brings more than 12 years of industry experience with him to The St. Regis Bal Harbour.

Jamaloan Abraham has been appointed as executive meeting manager at Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach

Jamaloan Abraham -who previously served as executive meeting manager for the oceanfront Fort Lauderdale hotel– rejoins the team in a similar capacity, responsible for groups of 25 rooms and below. She will handle all aspects of the sales process and the execution of all events during the conference. Her previous experience includes conference and convention service manager positions at the Colonnade in Coral Gables, Fla. and B Ocean Fort Lauderdale.

Russell Jenkins has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach

Russel Jenkins will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to attract group clients including the corporate, incentive and association markets. Most recently, he was the senior sales manager for Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach and consistently exceeded his quarterly and annual revenue goals while developing strategic plans for maintaining and increasing share from association group accounts. He was also responsible for proactively seeking new leisure wholesale and receptive accounts, with ability to drive market share to Fort Lauderdale.

Ryan Lasner has been appointed as Area Group Sales Manager at Hersha Hospitality

David Yamada has been appointed as General Manager at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach

Miguel Diaz has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach Resort

Diaz brings more than 20 years of hospitality and sales industry experience to the Wyndham Grand portfolio’s newest resort. Previously, Diaz held sales director roles at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa; Westin Beach Resort & Spa, Fort Lauderdale; Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel; Marenas Beach Resort & Spa; and Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. As director of sales and marketing for Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, Diaz will lead all sales, marketing and revenue generation efforts for the resort. Diaz will also serve as community liaison working with local tourism, economic development, and service groups and organizations, as well as leading all public relations and advertising actions for the resort. He will also work to motivate and mentor the sales, catering and convention services teams to execute impeccable events.

Heather Strauss has been appointed as General Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa

Anthony White has been promoted to Area Manager at GF Management

Anthony began his career with GF Management in 2007 as the Director of Operations at the Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, NC. As a proven leader, Anthony then served as General Manager at a few of GF’s core hotels. Most recently, Anthony has served as the General Manager at the award winning Embassy Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista Resort located just minutes from downtown Orlando, and a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel. Anthony played a critical role in the execution of the $14M renovation completed at this property in 2014, making it a cutting edge example for the Embassy Suites brand. Jeremy Craft has been appointed as Director of Golf at Villas of Grand Cypress

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Jeremy R. Craft director of golf for the Grand Cypress Golf Club at the Villas of Grand Cypress. Jeremy Craft was previously head golf professional & buyer for the Grand Cypress Resort of Orlando. Earlier in his career he was employed by Troon Golf as tournament coordinator, first assistant and head golf professional.
