Peter Island Resort Set for December Debut in the British Virgin Islands

Peter Island Resort, the largest private island resort in the British VirginIslands, is pleased to announce its official opening December 1, 2024. Since its closure in 2017, the resort has undergone a reimagining that has transformed the property to a new level of luxury. Saba Rock Is Now Open

Saba Rock, an island resort destination in the British Virgin Islands, celebrated its grand reopening on Oct. 15, debuting a fresh design concept and unveiling new guest experiences. Saba Rock's General Manager Alain Prion announced the resort's official opening following a ribbon-cutting in front of more than 100 guests from the BVI community including government and tourism officials, hospitality partners, and residents.

Mauricio Manrique has been appointed as Director of Finance at Rosewood Little Dix Bay

Manrique joins Rosewood Little Dix Bay with 15 years of finance experience working for luxury resorts throughout the Caribbean, United States and Europe. Most recently, Manrique served as controller for Caneel Bay Resort in St. John, USVI where he was responsible for overseeing and improving daily accounting operations, producing financial reports and providing financial support to operating departments.

Maximilian Deickert has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage at Rosewood Little Dix Bay

Maximilian Deickert has been appointed director of food and beverage of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, the legendary Caribbean resort that is anticipated to reopen in December 2017 following a complete renovation. In this role, Deickert will consult on the resort’s overall culinary vision and oversee the operations of the property’s three signature dining venues, which will be unveiled with new designs and Sense of Place® dining experiences upon the resort’s reopening.Deickert joins Rosewood Little Dix Bay with over 20 years of experience overseeing food and beverage operations for luxury resorts throughout Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East. Most recently, Deickert was a hotel operations and food and beverage consultant with Conseil & Project Management in Hong Kong.

Andreas Pade has been appointed managing director of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, the legendary Caribbean resort, which is anticipated to reopen in December 2017 following a complete renovation. Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, BVI recently appointed Dr. Rajamannar Chinnaraju as spa director of its luxurious Ixora Spa, where he will oversee the extensive menu of services, daily operations and highly skilled staff. With a degree in Naturopathic Medicine and Yoga Therapy from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in India, Chinnaraju brings more than seven years of experience in spa and wellness menu design and management of five-star hotel and resort spas.

Ricardo Cera has been appointed as Executive Chef at Rosewood Little Dix Bay

Rosewood Little Dix Bay is pleased to announce that Ricardo Cera has been appointed executive chef of the resort in Virgin Gorda, BVI. In this role, Chef Cera will be responsible for crafting the menus and overseeing the kitchens at the resort’s Sugar Mill, Pavilion and Beach Grill restaurants, where he will combine his contemporary style with traditional Caribbean influences to create an innovative and authentically local culinary experience. In addition to running the resort’s restaurants, Chef Cera will develop and launch Rosewood Little Dix Bay’s “Sense of Taste” programming to give guests an immersive dining experience using the famed Anegada Lobster and other tastes of the island.
