Joe Billhimer has been named Executive Vice President at Cordish Gaming Group

Cordish Gaming Group, a division of The Cordish Companies, today announced the appointment of gaming industry veteran JOE BILLHIMER as EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT. In this role, Mr. Billhimer will be responsible for leading the company's expansion into the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with the development of two new Live! Casino properties in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. His extensive experience in the gaming and hospitality sector will lead the brand towards significant growth as it breaks into a new gaming market.

New Renderings Of Hyatt Place, National Harbor Revealed

OTO Development is pleased to release new renderings of its seven-story waterfront hotel Hyatt Place, National Harbor, which is set to open later this year. Working closely with OTO Development, Peterson Companies and Turner Construction, Washington D.C.-based architecture and design firm //3877 was tasked with the full interior design and architecture for the property, including the public spaces, restaurant, meeting rooms, and the prototype guestrooms. Once built, the seven-story waterfront hotel will be the first Hyatt-branded property in Prince George's County, Maryland.

In his new role, Chef Vaiciunas is responsible for directing and overseeing food service operations throughout the property. He develops menus for the hotel's food and beverage establishments, as well as special events, private events and in-room dining options while ensuring quality assurance in culinary operations. With an impressive resume working at establishments across the country, Chef Vaiciunas will manage the food and beverage team, oversee budgets and provide an exceptional e xperience for guests.

Previously, Mr. Bell served as Senior Vice President of Oracle Hospitality's North America Hotels Division where he first joined under MICROS Systems, Inc. in 2002. During his career with MICROS, he held leadership roles across Food & Beverage, Hotels, and Sports & Entertainment divisions to facilitate global growth for the company and its customers up until Oracle's acquisition of MICROS in 2014. Juan Webster has been appointed as General Manager at Sagamore Pendry Baltimore

Webster joins Pendry Hotels & Resorts from Kimpton Hotels & Resorts, where he served as general manager of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor. Prior to this, Webster led the team as general manager of Radisson Baltimore Downtown-Inner Harbor, the second transition in four years converting back to a global brand in the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. Before this, Webster was the general manager of Baltimore Harbor Hotel, during which he led the transition of the Sheraton Baltimore City Center into a full-service independent boutique hotel product. He has also served in several leadership roles for Interstate Hotels & Resorts, including general manager, director of operations, director of rooms and revenue management including his time at Hilton Durham at Duke University. Notably, Webster was on the opening team of the Umstead Hotel and Spa, one of North Carolina's first Five Star and Five Diamond properties.

OTO Development Breaks Ground on Hyatt Place National Harbor

OTO Development, part of The Johnson Group, has broken ground on Hyatt Place National Harbor. Slated to open in late 2020, the seven-story waterfront hotel will be the first Hyatt-branded property in Prince George's County, Maryland. It's the latest hospitality addition to National Harbor, a 350-acre destination on the banks of the Potomac River with a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities.
