Hawaii-based Aqua Hospitality, founded in 2001, has announced it will assume management of two hotels in Guam beginning in December 2013. The two additional properties brings the number of hotels in the company's portfolio to 26. The new management contracts represent a milestone for Aqua as they will be the company's first hotels outside of Hawaii. The two Guam properties owned by Sentry Hospitality collectively offer almost 200 rooms.

Australian hotel management company Toga Hotels has announced it will manage and/or provide consultancy services to 11 of Rendezvous Hotels' sites in Australia and New Zealand. The move was prompted by the recent joint venture between the Toga Group and Far East Hospitality Holdings (Far East Hospitality).
Effective today, Kempinski Hotels and Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts have mutually agreed to bring the companies' fruitful 25-year relationship to a close. Following a progressive phase out which began in 2012, both parties will from now on promote their businesses separately. This will allow Leela to further consolidate its sales and marketing network independently, while facilitating Kempinski Hotels' direct penetration into the important Indian market.
