Tradition And Lifestyle Brought Together Under The Same Roof

Deutsche Hospitality is putting a new brand structure in place. In future, the traditional Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts brand and the lifestyle brand Jaz in the City will be combined to form the new "Upscale" Segment. Denis Hüttig will assume responsibility for the Upscale Segment in his capacity as Vice President Steigenberger Business & Resorts and Jaz in the City and will report directly to CEO Marcus Bernhardt. Stefan Frank, General Manager of the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt, will become the new Senior Director Operations. Mr. Frank's appointment takes effect on 1 May 2021.

Life House Delivers Ultra-Luxury Hospitality With High Profitability At The Wheatleigh Hotel In The Berkshires

In November 2020 Life House assumed the management of the historic Forbes Five-Star Wheatleigh Hotel and its AAA Five-Diamond restaurant in the picturesque Berkshires. Since taking over management in November, Life House has increased RevPAR by 76% over the prior operator's "Pre-COVID" performance, decreased operating expenses by 32% on an apples-to-apples basis, and simultaneously increased guest satisfaction scores - demonstrating that Life House's technology and operating systems are able to empower great hospitality, not only automate costs.

Triton To Restore Iconic Picture House

Triton Construction has been appointed as main contractor to preserve and redevelop the historic, Grade 2 listed Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds. The £2.8 million contract follows news that the treasured venue has secured a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant with match funding from Leeds City Council to secure its future.

Three Story Hotels in Sweden to Join Hyatt's JDV Brand

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE:H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into franchise agreements with Story Hotels Holding AB to bring three hotels in Sweden under the JDV Hotel brand, helping to grow Hyatt's independent collection brand in Europe.
