The Waymark Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton Announces Grand Opening

The Waymark Hotel, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton and managed by Concord Hospitality is now open in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. The property, owned by HKS Holdings and housed within the historic 1927 Chattanooga Savings Bank & Trust Company building, has undergone an extensive transformation, breathing new life into a historic downtown landmark situated in Chattanooga's central city center district.

Vision Hospitality Group Breaks Ground on Dual-Brand Home2 Suites and Tru by Hilton in Chattanooga/Lookout Valley, Tenn.

Vision Hospitality Group, Inc., a Chattanooga-based hotel development and management company, has officially broken ground on the new dual-branded Home2 Suites by Hilton and Tru by Hilton Lookout Valley in Chattanooga, Tenn. Vision Hospitality Group Inc. held a groundbreaking ceremony today commencing construction on the seven-story 184-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown. BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Robert Dorr director of sales and marketing for The Chattanoogan, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property located in the revitalized center of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Tom Cupo, regional managing director, made the announcement. Robert Dorr was most recently director of sales & marketing for The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center, a mixed use hotel and residential property that exists within the tallest building in the state of Virginia. Mr. Dorr has previously held sales leadership positions with Westin, Hilton, Sheraton and Dolce properties. Earlier in his career he served as director of sales for Benchmark while the company restored the historic Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
