Pacifica Host Hotels announces today that the newly-redesigned Crowne Plaza®-Dallas Market Center hotel has wrapped up its multi-million dollar renovation. The hotel's owner and operator has invested in the following renovations to its 21-story, 354-room property:
Cambria Downtown Dallas, located in the historic Tower Petroleum building and managed by Filmore Hospitality, announces the appointment of Zach Lybbert as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Ms. Rasnick has most recently been with Hilton Worldwide since 2002, where her responsibilities included Director of Sales for Worldwide Accounts and Director of Sales Automation for Small & Medium-sized Enterprises. Her experience also includes serving as General Manager at the AmeriSuites Hotel in Dallas and in sales positions at properties such as the Holiday Inn Select in Dallas and the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Los Angeles.
Marissa Maguire, who has 12 years of hotel management experience, becomes General Manager of the property, while Kendahl Rasnick, with more than 30 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, becomes Director of Sales. Mrs. Maguire has served in management and operations positions at multiple hotels, notably the Hilton Garden Inn as well as the Courtyard by Marriott in College Station; the Courtyard at Houston Galleria; and the dual brand Courtyard and Residence Inn in downtown Houston.
Marisol Lopez is an exemplary leader in the Dallas hotel scene with more than 15 years of experience. A Texas native, Ms. Lopez's career evolved from director of sales, to hotel manager at NYLO Dallas South Side, to most recently accepting the distinguished role of director of sales and marketing at the new CANVAS Hotel Dallas. Lopez was recognized as Manager of the Year in 2014 and 2016. She led the successful transition of NYLO Dallas into new management with Intrigue Hotels & Resorts by Interstate in October 2018, including the transition and launch from NYLO Dallas to CANVAS Hotel Dallas this year.
With more than 13 years of experience across various properties throughout Texas, Jared Williams has earned a well-rounded career, and a proven deep understanding of all facets of hotel management. Previously, Mr. Williams served as general manager for the AAA Four Diamond Highland Dallas. In addition, he earned Hotel Manager of the Year and Hotel of the Year awards at AAA Four Diamond Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston. He now brings his award-winning leadership to CANVAS Hotel Dallas as general manager.

Chef Race has also served as executive chef for the Phoenix Convention Center, the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers and the Westin Galleria Dallas.
Clifton Thiebaud, General Manager of the Dallas Marriott Las Colinas, has announced the recent addition of Belinda Daniel as Director of Sales for the 364-room hotel located on Lake Carolyn in Irving, Texas. Ms. Daniel has been in various sales roles for 18 years, including roles with Olympus America in Irving, IBM Corporation in Dallas before entering the hospitality industry in 2010 as Business Travel Sales Manager at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriot Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle. During her time there she met and exceeded monthly and quarterly goals averaging 128% and was named Sales Manager of the Year in 2013. She was also awarded the HEI Winners Circle for exceeding goals 120 percent. In 2015 Ms. Daniel joined the Radisson Hotel Fossil Creek in Fort Worth as Business Travel & Leisure Sales Manager where she increased year-over-year average daily rates $12 and year-over-year revenue by 24 percent. Her role as Director of Sales at the Dallas Marriott Las Colinas includes directing five daily report staff, managing the hotel brand and strategy, overseeing all customer communication and managing all room night and meetings business through the hotel's current $6 million renovations. Earlier this year all guest rooms were renovated and public and meeting space will be completed in the fall of 2018. She is a member and Ambassador for the Hotel Association of Tarrant County and lives in Fort Worth.

As a result, she has a wealth of knowledge for the competitive landscape, along with key feeder markets.

Pilavakis brings more than 28 years of hotel management experience to the Renaissance Dallas Hotel, located downtown near Dallas Market Hall. Most recently, Pilavakis served as general manager of Dallas Marriott City Center. Prior to that position, he worked in Orlando where he held many leadership positions including General Manager at Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista, Resident Manager at Re naissance Orlando at SeaWorld, Director of Operations at Marriott's Grand Vista Vacation Ownership Resort, General Manager at Marriott's Harbour Lake Vacation Ownership Resort, Director of Operations at Marriott's Grande Vista Vacation Ownership Resort and Front Office Manager at Orlando World Center Marriott.
