The Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop, opening Summer 2018, today announces the appointment of seasoned hospitality veteran Ann Sutherland Lynch as director of sales and marketing. In her new position, Lynch will utilize her deep experience in hospitality sales and marketing to lead her team at the new Autograph Collection hotel owned and operated by Denver-based Stonebridge Companies.

Kelly Wilson has been named Director of Sales & Marketing at Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center

The Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel, housed in one of the state’s most famous and historic buildings – the former Colorado National Bank Building – has announced the appointment of Kelly Wilson as its director of sales and marketing. Wilson joins the team with nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing and a multitude of industry accomplishments: she received the Sage Hospitality Sales Leader of the Year award in 2004, saw year-to-date growth in many of her sales roles and started her own task force consulting company, Bloom Hospitality, in 2008. While Wilson has worked with hospitality organizations such as KPartners Hospitality, serving as a leader in hospitality sales, she is no stranger to the Renaissance Denver Downtown. Wilson was the sales manager and part of the pre-opening management team of the property in 2014.

David Stutz has been appointed as General Manager at The Source Hotel

BMC Investments in partnership with Vision Hospitality Group opens Moxy by Marriott in Denver/Cherry Creek

BMC Investments in partnership with Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of the 170-room Moxy Denver/Cherry Creek. This is the first Vision-managed hotel in Colorado, and the first ground-up development of a Moxy in the United States. Jason Dorfman has been named General Manager at The Jacquard

The Jacquard, a hotel slated to open early 2018 within Denver’s fashionable Cherry Creek North neighborhood, today announces the appointment of Jason Dorfman as general manager. Dorfman will lead the new Autograph Collection hotel, owned and operated by Denver-based Stonebridge Companies, upon its opening. Holding a B.S. in Business Administration from The Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management at the University of Denver, Dorfman brings an impressive track record in hospitality experience to The Jacquard. Over the years, he has worked at many other prominent hotels in Colorado and beyond. He returns to Colorado after most recently serving as general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton San Francisco Airport North where he was awarded Stonebridge Companies’ highest honor, The President’s Award for General Manager of the Year. Dorfman has spent more than half of his career with Stonebridge Companies, beginning as a revenue manager in 2006. While holding this position he was nominated as Outstanding Revenue Manager of the Year by Marriott International. Beyond the prestigious awards he has garnered, Jason has been responsible for leading various hotels he has managed to increased guest satisfaction scores, market share growth and overall property success.

Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown completes multi-million dollar renovation

The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown is pleased to announce that it has completed the multi-million dollar renovation launched last fall that included updates the hotel"s lobby and seven urban meetings spaces. The "modern vintage" feel of the remodel was designed to honor the hotel"s stylish architectural history – the building was originally designed by Denver architect Frank E. Edbrooke in 1887 and was home to Joslins Department Store for much of the 1900s.

Kerchof most recently served as the Director of Meetings & Events Planning at Synergos, AMC in Fort Collins, where she was responsible for all hotel and travel planning for five different national associations. She previously spent two years as an Executive Meetings Manager at the JW Marriott Denver, where she achieved top performing results in both booking revenue and in service execution scores. A Certified Meeting Professional, Kerchof’s other industry experience includes event management positions at the JW Marriott Denver Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, the Ritz-Carlton Denver and the Denver City Center Marriott.

Alexis Guinn has been appointed as Sales Manager at The JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek

Guinn joins the JW Marriott Denver team from another Sage Hospitality property, the Curtis – a Doubletree by Hilton, where she most recently served as a Group Sales Manager. While at the Curtis, Guinn was named the hotel’s Manager of the Year for 2016. A graduate of Colorado State University, Guinn also previously worked at the Grand Hyatt Denver and the Vail Marriott Hotel Resort & Spa.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center completes major renovation

Upgrades to the full-service hotel included new modern furniture, lighting, carpet and soft goods in tones of blue-gray and camel in each of the 403 spacious guest suites. Additionally, a commissioned two-story art and water feature welcomes guests to the soaring lobby, which features a 14- story sky curtain that provides an abundance of natural light. The hotel"s 27,000 square feet of meeting space – which can host up to 650 people - now features fresh carpet and design, along with three new Executive Board Rooms.
