Pascal Eggerstedt has been named General Manager at InterContinental® Doha The City

Prior to joining InterContinental Doha The City, Eggerstedt served as General Manager at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain where he lead a $12 million renovation and was recognised by the Minister of Labour as one of the leading development and career centres for local talent in the hospitality industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Eggerstedt’s well-rounded career began with various operational roles at five-star luxury properties in Europe and the Caribbean. He then moved into IHG Corporate Offices in Hong Kong and Singapore in the Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement department. Subsequently, Eggerstedt held operations roles in Indonesia before joining the IHG Global Headquarters in London as Director Operations Support for the EMEA region.

Glenn Parker has been appointed as General Manager at The Doha Renaissance Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments

Glenn Parker has assumed the role of General Manager at the Doha Renaissance Hotel, Courtyard and Marriott Executive Apartments effective immediately. Glenn is a 30 year veteran in the hospitality industry with significant international operations experience and a proven track record in the Middle East. Glenn joined Marriott in 1973 and held various positions in hotel management, procurement and sales and marketing both domestically and internationally. In 1983, after his first international assignment in Saudi Arabia as Food and Beverage Director for two years, Glenn moved to Marriott’s Regional Office in London, England as Senior Director of Procurement. In 1987, Glenn became Vice President of Food and Beverage for Marriott Management Services (MMS). In 1990, Glenn moved to Marriott’s Procurement and Distribution Division as Vice President of Regional and International Procurement for Marriott operations worldwide.

Lamya Sebti has been appointed as Cluster Director of Marketing & Communication at Wyndham Grand Regency Doha & Ramadan Encore Doha

Lamya Sebti worked previously in Morocco where she held the position of General Manager of Events and Experience, an Events Management company she founded in 2012. Before running her own business, she worked as a Group Director of Marketing & Communication at Palmeraie Hotels & Resorts, the leading 220 hectares Golf Resort in Marrakech.
