Brian D’ Souza has been appointed as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dubai

Brian D’ Souza, the property’s new assistant food and beverage manager, is set to ensure that all short-term and long-term targets of F&B operations are met. In his newly assumed position, he will direct the department’s activities to boost revenue and profitability, and ensure that high quality products and service are delivered to guests. With seven years of experience in the hotel’s F&B field, he previously worked at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort, where he served as room service captain and worked his way up to restaurant manager.

Osman Nasir has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dubai

With 16 years of hospitality sales experience, Osman Nasir will now be leading the sales and marketing department as director of sales and marketing. In his new position he will be aiming to set and achieve targets to maximise revenue, and will be directing corporate sales and marketing strategies. Further responsibilities include strengthening relationships with the property’s existing partners and generating business leads on a local and international scale.

Noel Attard has been appointed as CEO at Kempinski Trading

Kempinski Hotels announces the appointment of Noel Attard as CEO of Kempinski Trading JLT, based in Dubai, effective November 27, 2014. Kempinski Hotels’ Management Board have appointed Mr Attard, a long serving Kempinski General Manager whose deep operational and preopening knowledge, and strong financial background make him ideal to lead Kempinski Trading JLT. Attard joined Kempinski in 2001, originally as Financial Controller at the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz in Malta, and later as Executive Assistant Manager. He then transferred as Executive Assistant Manager to Kempinski Hotel Adriatic in Croatia to 2/3 support the hotel during its pre-opening phase, and in 2008 returned to Malta as General Manager.

Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Anthony McHale as General Manager of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the world’s most luxurious hotel. Anthony McHale takes up the role as of 11th January 2015, joining Jumeirah Group after more than five years as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London. .

Ansgar Werneke has been appointed as Executive Chef at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel

Originally from Germany, Chef Ansgar has over twenty two years’ of culinary experience and joins from Jumeirah Beach Hotel where he worked for five years. During his time there he was responsible for the culinary operations in both the restaurant and banquet divisions. Chef Werneke has held a number of roles at Jumeirah including Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine before advancing to the position of Executive Sous Chef in 2009.

Mansoor has held various Sales roles over the last 14 years, bringing a wealth of expertise to his role at Infor. He’s spent the last five years at Al Futtaim Technologies. There he enjoyed success in driving business with new clients - holding the track record for “new business” performance. Prior to that he spent five years at Oasys Infotech as Sales & Marketing Manager, responsible for dealer management & direct sales in Europe, ME and Africa.
