Most recently, she served as Director of Marketing at PGA WEST, where she led integrated initiatives including a website redesign and the implementation of a new CRM platform, driving increased engagement and revenue across bookings, memberships, and group sales. Prior to that, she spent two years as Membership Director at Marrakesh Country Club, overseeing all PR, marketing, and social media initiatives. Earlier in her career, she spent seven years as Marketing Manager at La Quinta Resort & Club, a Waldorf Astoria Resort. Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Rebrands to Grand Hyatt Indian Wells & Villas After $64M Renovation

Elevated Guestrooms, Suites and Villas: The property's newly enhanced 531 accommodations, including 39 spacious suites have completed renovations, while 43 one- and two-bedroom private villas, are set to debut by November 2024. Grand Hyatt Indian Wells will provide large guestrooms, with 550 square feet of luxurious living space. Guests can choose from various configurations, including one king bed, two king beds, rooms with full-sized bunkbeds, and more. As the resort's premier offering, Grand Hyatt Indian Wells' new villas will feature premium amenities for guests, including a private backyard with a hot tub, plunge pool or firepit, kitchenette with refrigerators, access to an adults only spa, and golf cart escorts around the property. New Inventive Dining Concepts: The resort will debut two new restaurant concepts—Tía Carmen and Carmocha—in collaboration with the acclaimed Chef Angelo Sosa. Tía Carmen will pay homage to Chef Sosa's aunt (tía) Carmen and celebrate the local landscape, farmers and community of the Southwest reflecting a mix of tradition and modernity, while Carmocha will reimagine global small plates from the perspective of Angelo's tía Carmen if she had traveled around the world and came back from her journeys to put her own spin on some of the dazzling array of international flavors she experienced. Enhanced Destination-Driven Pool Experience: The anchor of the resort guest journey is its popular pool experience, and the new Grand Hyatt Indian Wells will unveil enhancements to the spacious outdoor recreation area with expanded cabanas fit for large groups and families, as well as new dining options including a food truck, Palmadoro's, serving pizza and signature Italian bites, and a refreshed café, offering poolside favorites. Grand Hyatt Indian Wells' pool experience also features the largest waterpark in the Greater Palm Springs desert, HyTides, which includes expansive pools, a set of 30-foot high (150-feet in length) dueling waterslides, a 450-foot lazy river and more.

R.D. Olson Renovating Hyatt Regency Indian Wells

Future guests of the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa will be experiencing several renovations come spring break of 2024, as R.D. Olson Construction has announced commencement of the extensive public area renovation at the luxury resort. The project for client Trinity Real Estate Investments comes a year after it purchased the 36-acre property. Originally opened in 1989, the desert oasis has undergone significant restoration in recent years, including the addition of a waterpark catering to families.

In this new position, La Vine will oversee all of the resort’s services and staff, while ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability. La Vine was most recently at The Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder, where he also served as General Manager. Starting his career more than 20 years ago in the guest services department at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, La Vine has honed his hospitality expertise while working with several hotels in California, Texas, Florida, Toronto and New Mexico including The Fess Parker a Doubletree by Hilton Resort, Regent Beverly Wilshire and St. Regis Hotel. Throughout his career in the hospitality industry, La Vine has created programs that have played a part in increasing revenue while successfully trouble shooting internal issues when necessary. In addition, La Vine was honored for scoring the highest in his region for ‘Trust & Engagement” in 2014, as well as generating the highest revenue ever recorded for four months straight in 2007 while General Manager at Edgewater Beach Hotel in Naples, FL.

Converse joins Miramonte from the Aramark Sports and Entertainment beverage alcohol service and sales program at the Anaheim Convention Center where he served as Beverage Operations Manager. A top-performing food & beverage professional, Converse is credited with combining sales, marketing, and business development expertise to deliver substantial revenue growth in highly competitive markets. He possesses exceptional expertise in strategic concept and menu development while meeting the bottom line. In his new role at Miramonte, Converse will oversee the food and beverage operations at the resort and ensure the culinary offerings meet and exceed guests’ needs. Converse will focus on increasing revenue and maximizing the financial performance of the department while also maintaining employee and guest satisfaction. Serving most recently as Assistant Director of Culinary Experiences at The Camby, A Destination Hotel, in Phoenix, AZ, Executive Chef Paul Hancock has been brought on board to oversee all culinary operations for the 11-acre property. Having spent more than a decade working in hotel kitchens around the country, Chef Hancock has held positions such as Executive Sous Chef at the Diplomat Country Club, Resort & Spa in Hollywood, FL, Executive Chef Consultant at Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, CA, as well as a chef apprenticeship with L’auberge de l’Erdian in Veyier Du Lac, France. In his new role as executive chef at Miramonte, Chef Hancock will oversee all daily kitchen operations and menus ensuring the highest standard of culinary excellence and the use of seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients. Through the combination of strengths from Hancock’s repertoire and under the leadership of Converse, an exceptional food and beverage program is in store for guests.
