Jackson Hole’s Iconic Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa Reopens With Summer Debut

Returning to its quaint and quiet corner of Jackson, Wyoming, The Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa is now taking bookings for its triumphant July 1st opening, after a devastating fire destroyed the nearly 30-year-old boutique hotel in 2019. The reopening of the award-winning, family-owned and operated property will unveil a ground-up transformation inclusive of 38 rooms and two suites, the Body Sage Spa, and the Wild Sage Restaurant and Bar which are taking reservations as early as May 1, 2024. While entirely reimagined, the building remains true to the beloved Jackson lodge aesthetic by fitting seamlessly into the surrounding towering timbers and majestic mountains and is eager to welcome back both longtime and new guests, while staying close to its roots.

Melissa Mosher has been appointed as Spa Director at Snow King Resort

With the resorts new 9,000 square foot Grand View Spa ready to debut in May 2023, Mosher brings more than 30 years of industry experience to her new role as Spa Director. Having travelled extensively around the world studying wellness, massage and bodywork therapy, Mosher is a licensed massage and RYT yoga instructor, and is affiliated with the NCBTMB, giving her national accreditation to teach massage continuing education classes. She also specializes in family herbalism and aromatherapy counsel. Prior to joining Snow King Resort's Grand View Spa, she was a massage and bodywork therapist and yoga instructor at Keystone Lodge & Spa in Colorado. She's held similar positions throughout Colorado Springs and was the Massage Program Director and full time instructor for the College of Wilmington, in North Carolina.

Marc Boussarie has been appointed as Executive Chef at Snow King Resort

Boussarie has spent the last 8 years in Jackson at various properties including Executive Chef of the historic Wort Hotel and most recently at The Whistling Grizzly at The Wyoming Inn. Prior to moving to Jackson, Boussarie spent 21 years in California in similar culinary and corporate positions throughout San Francisco and Los Angeles. He graduated from the California Culinary Academy with honors in 1995, and served his externship at Le Peché Gourmand, a One Star Michelin restaurant in Angers, France.

Mountain Modern Unveils Property-Wide Transformation and Expansion

Mountain Modern has announced the completion of its property-wide transformation and expansion, which comes following the acquisition of Jackson Hole Lodge. Located at the corridor of downtown Jackson just steps from Town Square, the property has doubled its footprint to cover a full city block, welcoming locals and travelers with 59 new guest rooms and suites including two-story, residential-style Teton Townhomes; an outdoor pool and jacuzzi; and "The Triple M," a contemporary social hub for the modern adventurer featuring unconventional après-ski offerings and 19,000 square-feet of new indoor-outdoor space, co-working and lounge areas, fire pits and more.

Christopher Park has been appointed as Executive Chef at Snow King Resort

As Executive Chef, Park will be responsible for overseeing a staff of 40 associates, the daily operations of the resort's signature restaurant Haydens Post, banquet kitchen and room service, as well as food revenues and product purchasing. Park will also be responsible for creating and implementing seasonal restaurant and holiday menus throughout the year.

Cache House, a New High-Design Hostel, Opens below the Anvil Hotel in Jackson Hole

Cache House, a new high-end hostel lodging experience centered on the modern-day explorer and originally a former bunkhouse during the 1990s, opens this month in the heart of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Located below the Anvil Hotel outside of the town's central square, the new lodging concept features two shared living quarters with 50 bunks and a spacious lobby, offering a new high-design stay experience at an approachable price point. Owned by Eagle Point Hotel Partners and designed by Brooklyn-based firm Studio Tack, Cache House features shared accommodations and public spaces that are bright and minimalist in their design, but functional in their approach, creating a new home base for travelers to relax, find a sense of community, and explore the surrounding area.
