Dan Clark has been appointed as Vice President, Global Leisure Sales - Europe at Preferred Travel Group

Dan Clark has been appointed as Vice President, Global Leisure Sales - Europe, where he will lead the brand's global leisure sales strategy in Europe. In this role, Dan will focus on strengthening relationships with the travel agent community, driving bookings for member hotels worldwide, and fostering partnerships with leading luxury organisations such as Virtuoso and Serandipians. With extensive experience in hospitality sales, Dan most recently served as Senior Director of Hospitality Sales for Calliope Collective, another Preferred Travel Group brand, leading the division's representation efforts throughout Europe. Prior to that, he worked for a range of hotels and brands including Gleneagles, Elite Hotels, Radisson Edwardian and Trump Hotels, where he elevated visibility and implemented successful sales growth strategies.

Kostas Sfaltos has been appointed as Managing Director at The Berkeley and The Emory

Kostas Sfaltos has been appointed as the new general manager of The Berkeley and The Emory in Belgravia, succeeding Knut Wylde, who left in July after a decade with Maybourne. These two luxury hotels are part of the prestigious Maybourne collection, which also includes Claridge's and The Connaught in London, as well as The Maybourne Riviera and The Maybourne Beverly Hills. Sfaltos joins the team from his previous role as managing director of the Bvlgari Hotel in Knightsbridge. His 30-year career in hospitality also includes leadership positions such as general manager of the Old Aldwych Hotel and hotel manager during the launch of Café Royal.

Rob Van Eyck has been appointed as Hotel Manager at The Savoy

The Savoy in London has appointed Rob Van Eyck as its new hotel manager, starting in January 2025. Van Eyck will join from Rocco Forte's The Balmoral in Edinburgh, where he successfully led the hotel to achieve prestigious accolades, including Two Keys from Michelin and Forbes five-star status. In his new position, Van Eyck will collaborate closely with regional vice president and managing director Franck Arnold, who has been with The Savoy for over four years.
