The Shelburne Sonesta New York is a full-service property that provides a launchpad to explore the city. Guests will receive warm, personalized service at the recently renovated hotel, located on Lexington Avenue in the Murray Hill neighborhood. Steps away from Grand Central Station, the hotel offers 325 spacious guest rooms and suites, ranging from studios to two bedroom apartments. Ziya Turgut has been appointed as Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage at Hyatt Place New York Chelsea

Newly opened Hyatt Place Chelsea has officially named Ziya Turgut as the property's food and beverage manager and head chef. Backed by an experienced team, chef Turgut will oversee all F&B operations including the Breakfast Bar, The Market, and the property's onsite restaurant and bar, The Placery, which offers a fusion-style menu. Furthermore, chef Turgut will helm operations of The Terrace, a year-round outdoor venue set to open this summer.

June opening for Radio Tower and Hotel, NYC

Radio Tower and Hotel is expected to open on June 16, 2022. This 22-story mixed-use development is located in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. Designed as a multihued series of stacked blocks, the building features a ceramic brick façade that breaks away into eight boxy volumes, each with its own distinct color. Drawing inspiration from the diversity and vibrancy of the existing community, the colors start with a vibrant lime green and yellow, then transition into subdued blue, red, orange, teal, and magenta materials. Along with the hotel space, the building features lofts, office space, and extensive event space. Above the hotel, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool deck and a third outdoor space above the 19th floor that will reportedly debut as a restaurant.

When the stock exchange was first founded in 1792, brokers signed a document called the "Buttonwood Agreement," named after the buttonwood tree it was signed under at Wall and Water Streets. By the 19th Century, much of the trading Wall Street became known for happened inside the Tontine Coffee House, a lively center of merchants, traders, meetings and entertainment. Tontine was located at the intersection of Wall and Water Streets and became one of the nation's busiest centers for buying and selling stocks.
