Atlantis Paradise Island is going bigger and bolder in 2022 by announcing multimillion-dollar renovations and exciting new partnerships at the iconic resort located on five miles of white sand beaches in The Bahamas. For nearly 25 years, Atlantis, best known for exuding Bahamian culture, serving as a marvel and custodian of marine life, and its landmark pink architecture - specifically the highly recognizable Royal Towers and Bridge Suite - has paved the way for luxury, hospitality and entertainment in the Caribbean and around the world. David Grutman and Pharrell Williams Reveal Their First Resort, Somewhere Else, in The Bahamas

The property (which is adjacent to Atlantis, and which will take over the current site of The Beach) is set to offer a unique and immersive experience, blending Grutman's ability to create highly memorable hospitality platforms with Williams's dynamic, genre-spanning artistry. The duo has already garnered collaborative success as partners on Swan, the Miami-based restaurant, and The Goodtime Hotel, a Miami Beach-based boutique concept; Somewhere Else marks their next milestone step.

Jermaine C. Wright has been appointed as General Manager at Comfort Suites Paradise Island

Wright, a seasoned tourism and hospitality professional, brings to his new post 23 years of experience working with airlines, hotels and resorts. Prior to this new role, he held various positions at the historic British Colonial Hilton in downtown Nassau for 15 years. During his tenure at Hilton, Wright received multiple awards for Sales Performance, RevPAR Growth and Hospitality Leadership. He successfully completed the Hilton Worldwide's SHINE 4D program in 2011 and a development and training program for general managers in 2014.

Benjamin Davis has been appointed as General Manager at Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas

Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas has named industry veteran Benjamin Davis as general manager of the 244-room resort set to open this summer as The Bahamas' premier adults-only, all-inclusive resort. Davis was most recently the general manager at Grand Lucayan on Grand Bahama Island where he spent five years (2011 - 2016) managing the 1,271-room resort. Prior to that, Davis served as chief operating officer for Restaurants Bahamas, the largest restaurant operation in the Bahamas. Davis was general manager at Bimini Bay Beach Resort from 2007 - 2009. He held the positions of vice president and general manager during his four years at the 700-room Radisson Cable Beach and Golf Resort on Nassau. Davis was the hotel manager for Our Lucaya when it opened its doors in 1999. Davis has held various positions with other Caribbean resorts including Barbados' Almond Beach Village and Forte Hotels' Nassau Beach Hotel in The Bahamas, Jamaica Pegasus in Kingston, and Sandy Lane Hotels in Barbados. Davis started his career in London where he worked at Four Seasons Inn on the Park and Forte Hotels' Grosvenor House. Davis has been a board member of the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association for the past nine years. He also served for four years as a board member of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourism Association. Davis was honoured by Forte Hotels with the "Newcomer of the Year" award in 1991.

John Conway has been appointed as General Manager at One&Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island

With almost 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Conway acted as Senior Vice President and General Manager of The Cove Atlantis, where he was instrumental in the overall strategic planning and the successful launch and positioning of the new luxury brand. Prior to that, Conway served as senior vice president and general manager of the 1,200-room Royal Towers at Atlantis, Paradise Island, where he managed the resort’s day-to-day operations and achieved profitability as well as positive guest and employee satisfaction ratings.
