Opening the Corinthia Rome at Piazza del Parlamento is Danilo Zucchetti who most recently was Vice President Operations for Baglioni Hotels. Prior to that he was Managing Director of the Villa d'Este on Lake Como, having worked for the group for almost two decades. Previously he was General Manager of the Hotel Bauer and Il Palazzo in Venice for six years.

Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, has appointed Alessandro Belli as Head of Hospitality for Italy. Belli, who joins as a Partner, brings extensive experience in the hospitality industry in Italy, combined with a background in the real estate financial sector. He was previously Head of Hotel Investments at CDP Investimenti SGR, for whom he managed investments for a portfolio of hotels with over 2,000 rooms.
