Dynamic City Capital (DCC), a Utah-based real estate investment firm focused on acquiring and developing premium-branded hotels, announced the acquisition of The Charter Hotel Seattle, Curio Collection by Hilton® (Charter Hotel). The Curio Collection by Hilton is a global, upscale portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels in select markets. The Charter Hotel is the only Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in the Seattle/Bellevue market. The hotel initially opened in 2018.

Located in Pioneer Square, Hotel Westland will be the hotel group's first hotel in Seattle. A partnership with Urban Villages, the adaptive reuse of the historic Westland Building is expected to open in late 2023 with 120 guestrooms and suites, signature indoor and outdoor restaurant on activated "Railspur" alley, as well as a rooftop bar. Curioso, a hospitality interior design firm located in Chicago, is set to oversee the design.
