His impressive resume spans more than 20 years with intense focus in the Asia Pacific market where he established trusted relationships with top hotel brands and procurement companies. Charlie Dang has been appointed as Regional Vice President Southeast Asia at Starwood Hotels & Resorts

As Regional Vice President, Dang will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for the company’s growth and development across countries in Southeast Asia which includes Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. He will also oversee the operations and financial performance of Starwood hotels in the region as well as further build relationships with key stakeholders.

Sue Ann Ong has been appointed as Director of Sales at Dorsett Singapore

Getting a step closer to achieving the highest mid annual sales target, Dorsett Singapore is proud to appoint Ms. Sue Ann Ong to be Director of Sales with immediate effect. Prior to joining Dorsett Singapore, Sue Ann was the Director, South East Asia (Corporate and Agency Account Management) for Pegasus Solutions. Her portfolio includes solicitation of corporate accounts and facilitation of RPF process that would be a valuable asset to the business travel segment of the hotel’s business in line with one of the Key Performance Objectives (KPO) for Dorsett Singapore. On the hospitality front, she has also held senior sales positions in several worldwide luxury hotel brands, focusing primarily in the Business Travel and MICE segments. In addition, she started her career with a travel agent in Events Management after graduating from SHATEC with a Diploma in Tourism Studies. Sue Ann will report to Mr. Philip Wong directly.

Jovian Hun has been promoted to Hotel Manager at Furama City Centre

Mr. Jovian Hun, previously Executive Assistant Manager of Furama City Centre, has been promoted to Hotel Manager of the 445-room property. A hospitality veteran with 24 years of experience in the industry, Hun ascended through the ranks over the years, starting out as Front Office Manager for Furama RiverFront before being promoted to Executive Assistant Manager for Furama City Centre in 2012. In his new appointment as Hotel Manager, he will continue to lead the formulation and implementation of strategies to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency within the business hotel. Kwan Hun Fah has been appointed as General Manager at Furama RiverFront

After a successful tenure as General Manager of Furama City Centre, Mr. Kwan Hun Fah has assumed the position of General Manager at Furama RiverFront, the flagship of FHI, a five-time TTG Awards Mid-Range Hotel winner. Leo Frankel has been appointed as Director of Business Development at Conrad Centennial Singapore

Conrad Centennial Singapore is pleased to announce the appointment of Leo Frankel as Director of Business Development. He replaces Theresa Choo, Director of Sales and Marketing who has retired from her position after 18 years of service with at the Hotel. Leo started his career with Hilton Worldwide in 2000, through the Hilton Worldwide Elevator Graduate General Manager Fast-Track Program. He brings almost 14 years of experience in hospitality in a number of Hilton Worldwide properties including Hilton Sydney, Hilton Singapore, Hilton Shanghai and DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, where he was part of the opening team for the launch of the first DoubleTree by Hilton in Southeast Asia. In recognition of his contribution to the commercial success of the property, Leo was awarded DoubleTree by Hilton Director of Business Development of the year in 2011.

Jonathan Hardy has been appointed as VP sales Asia-Pacific at ADARA

With 20 years of experience in the region, Jonathan is an authority on the Asian media and advertising industry, recognized for his deep knowledge and background in sales. In his co-leadership role with Vijay, Jonathan will lead ADARA’s sales strategy and operations in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining ADARA, Jonathan served as Microsoft’s sales strategy lead in Asia, where he was responsible for developing multi-channel advertising sales strategies across several platforms and applications. Before his tenure with Microsoft, Jonathan was based in Hong Kong, where he founded the regional sales agency, Energy Media Networks. Vijay Bobba has been appointed as Managing Director Asia- Pacific at ADARA
