The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection today proudly announces the appointment of William (Bill) Bunce as the resort's new General Manager. In his new position, Bunce will oversee all day-to-day operations, continuing to elevate the guest experience and the resort's historic legacy.

Moxy St. Petersburg To Open This Summer

PTM Partners and DoveHill Capital Management are proud to announce that Moxy St. Pete will open this summer, under management from the Wurzak Hotel Group. Located on Central Avenue, one of the most vibrant streets in Florida, the hotel will open as the new social hub of St. Pete. The newly built lifestyle hotel, thoughtfully designed by Storyn Studio for Architecture, will introduce 163 guest rooms and suites, a dynamic lobby featuring indoor and outdoor spaces, a large open-air bar and premium coffee café, work areas, and the neighborhood's first rooftop pool deck with a poolside bar. Additionally, this fall, the hotel will open the second location of Sparrow, a Florida-favorite rooftop dining and nightlife experience.

Edelmira Delgado has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at AC Hotel St. Petersburg

Edelmira Delgado has more than 15 years of food and beverage experience, beginning while she was earning a bachelor's degree in business administration and international business at Youngstown State University. Her resume includes F&B management roles at major hotel brands including Hilton and Hyatt as well as boutique resorts and spas.

Ben Walters has been appointed as General Manager at AC Hotel St. Petersburg

Walters earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from Indiana University, then garnered a decade of operations experience in roles of increasing responsibility at various Hilton and Hyatt branded properties. He joined OTO Development in May 2021 as general manager of Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa/Ybor City, where stellar guest satisfaction scores prompted his promotion to opening general manager at the new AC Hotel.

Vanessa Williams has been appointed as General Manager at Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club

A South African native, Williams brings over thirty years of experience in luxury hotel sales and operations management, with past leadership roles at the Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills, Sukhothai Bangkok, Waldorf Astoria Beijing and Conrad Seoul. Most recently, Williams oversaw the flagship Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills as its general manager, where she led her team to outperform luxury benchmarks, such as upholding the Forbes 5-Star rating for both the hotel and the spa.

Richard Szilagyi has been appointed as Resident Manager at The Vinoy Renaissance

Szilagyi will oversee operations at the historic Florida resort, including the lobby, rooms and housekeeping. As the resident manager, Szilagyi will play a pivotal leadership role in the resort's sweeping renovations, which will elevate the luxury resort as the premiere destination in downtown St. Pete and are slated to complete their first phase later this year.

The Vinoy® St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club announces the launch of the initial phase of a comprehensive transformation that will reflect the resort's rich history through a refined yet sophisticated lens. Designed by world-renowned firms Rockwell Group and Hart Howerton, the elegant redesign will include the resort's legendary veranda, porte cochère, main lobby, guest rooms, spa, ballrooms, restaurants and more, with an anticipated completion in 2022.

Jennifer Sack brings over 25 years of hospitality experience and expertise in developing strong customer partnerships to her leadership role at The Vinoy. Throughout her extensive career at Marriott International, Sack most recently oversaw task force coverage for sales in the Florida region and previously managed a $14.7 million portfolio composed of 21 corporate accounts in the Tampa Bay area.

Brooke Kull has been appointed as Marketing Manager at Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club

As The Vinoy's marketing manager, Brooke Kull develops on-brand messaging to resort guests through traditional, digital and social media channels, driving thoughtful consumer and brand awareness. Kull brings a luxury touch to the team, coming from The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, where she developed multi-platform marketing materials, managed the luxury property's website, and facilitated its media and public relations initiatives.

Noelle Perra has been appointed as Senior Sales Executive (Leisure Travel) at Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club

A graduate from Johnson & Wales' Hospitality Management program, Perra most recently managed a $21 million portfolio as a senior account executive for Marriott Hotels International. Perra brings strategic account planning to her position at The Vinoy Renaissance, where she is responsible for driving leisure travel sales and maximizing revenue opportunity.

Tabish Siddiquie has been named General Manager at The Vinoy® Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club

As the resort's general manager, Siddiquie will be responsible for all aspects of daily operations, including sales and revenue generation, marketing, guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, and the membership club. Siddiquie will be actively involved in the St. Petersburg community, building strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and guests to continue The Vinoy's legacy as an iconic pillar on downtown St. Petersburg's welcoming waterfront.
