Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, part of Marriott International today will kick off a week of celebrations at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park as it marks the completion of its $50 million-dollartransformation by owners Sunshine Insurance. With the refurbishment, the iconic Sydney hotel, previously known as Sheraton on the Park, will also receive the brand's esteemed 'Grand' designation. Found in some of the world's most treasured destinations, Sheraton Grand hotels are recognized for their iconic locations, cultivated sense of design, exceptional service, exemplary dining concepts and exquisite spa experiences.

The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts Assumes Management of The Westin Sydney, Re-Brands to The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

he Fullerton Hotels and Resorts has today announced that as of 18 October 2019, The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts will be responsible for the management of the hotel located at 1 Martin Place, currently The Westin Sydney. The hotel will be re-branded The Fullerton Hotel Sydney. 1 Martin Place forms the southern face of Martin Place, a bustling pedestrian boulevard and public gathering place located in the civic heart of Sydney's CBD.

Graham Perry has been appointed as Managing Director, Australasia at Best Western Hotels & Resorts

Graham Perry has been appointed managing director of Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Australasia. The appointment follows Best Western International (BWI) taking management control of the brand on June 1 from the Motel Federation of Australia.  His first few weeks have been spent bedding down the operational transition as BWI moves to a property direct relationship with hotels and resorts in Australia and New Zealand. Perry's immediate goals are to boost the level of services Best Western provides properties such as increasing revenue management capabilities and growing Best Western Rewards. He was most recently CEO of inland NSW, while previous roles include CEO See Australia, CEO Traveland, managing director classifieds at Fairfax Media, and managing director Utell International.

Scott Eger has been appointed General Manager, Novotel Sydney Darling Square. With an extensive Food & Beverage background, Scott has held many management positions at hotels including Hayman Island and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Dubai, before joining AccorHotels in 2012 as Director of Food & Beverage at Pullman Reef Hotel Casino. In 2016, Scott moved to Sofitel Sydney Wentworth as Director of Food & Beverage where he was then promoted into his recent role as Hotel Manager.
