Scott Becque has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Marriott Syracuse Downtown

Scott Becque is the new director of sales and marketing for the Marriott Syracuse Downtown – the newest incarnation of the historic 1924 Hotel Syracuse, which was renovated and reopened in fall 2016 under the Marriott flag. Becque is a proven sales leader with more than two decades of experience steering hotel sales and marketing efforts through acquisitions, renovations, and repositionings.Most recently, Becque was director of sales and marketing for the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights in New Jersey, where he led the sales effort in the hotel’s transition to Hilton management. He also has served as director of sales and marketing for the Wyndham Andover (Boston) and Hilton Woodcliff Lake (N.J.).

TJM Properties, a leading Florida-based real estate and hospitality company, has named Tiffany Gallagher general manager of its newest hotel property, The Crowne Plaza Syracuse. Paul McNeil has been appointed as General Manager at Marriott Syracuse Downtown

The Marriott Syracuse Downtown today announced the executive leadership team for the historic hotel. Currently in the latter stages of a $70 million renovation to restore the historic former Hotel Syracuse to its 20th Century grandeur, the hotel is slated to open in July 2016. Experienced hotelier, Paul McNeil was named General Manager of the property in 2015.

Rachel Alcaro has been promoted to senior sales manager at Residence Inn/Courtyard by Marriott Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square

Alcaro previously was the director of sales at the 90-room Craftsman Inn and Conference Center, a Stickley-furnished, boutique-style suburban inn. While there, her direct sales efforts generated nearly 50 percent of the hotel's total room nights. Prior to joining that hotel, Alcaro was a convention sales manager for the Syracuse Convention and Visitors Bureau.
