Marriott International Signs Agreement With RIMAP Hospitality To Bring Its Playful Moxy Brand To Montreal

Marriott International today announced it has signed an agreement with RIMAP Hospitality to debut the company's playful and spirited Moxy Hotels brand to Montreal. Situated in downtown Montreal, the hotel will sit ideally north of Griffintown, an area that is home to The Bell Centre, Place Bonnaventure, the Montreal train station and the soon-to-be new National Bank headquarters. Construction on the Moxy Montreal Downtown is expected to begin this summer 2021, with the opening expected in 2024.

Martin Stitt has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Operations at Hotel Equities

Today, hotel owner, operator and development firm Hotel Equities ("HE") announced Martin Stitt has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations, Canada, where he will oversee HE's growing portfolio of hotels in the country. HE's Canadian regional team based in Edmonton, Alberta provides corporate support across all disciplines including operations, food and beverage, sales and marketing, revenue generation, accounting and human resources to the firm's 26 managed hotels in Canada.

Gadi Kaufmann has been appointed as Senior Advisor at Cabot

Kaufmann's distinguished career encompasses projects for privately held and publicly traded companies, institutional investors, and public sector and government entities. Kaufmann is currently the Chairman of Robert Charles Lesser & Co (RCLCO), a foundation formed in 2006 as a means to positively influence the availability and development of affordable housing. He previously served as Managing Director and CEO for 20 years. Kaufmann is an active board and committee member of several industry and academic organizations, including the Urban Land Institute and the UCLA Center for Real Estate. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from UCLA.
