New Zleep Hotel opens in Denmark

As of May 1, 2022, Zleep Hotel Køge welcomes its guests in the Danish harbour city. Built in 1989 in the style of an old warehouse, the hotel is located directly at the old marina and is only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Køge. In order to benefit from the location's great potential, Zleep Hotel Køge will subsequently be modernized and remodeled by doubling the room capacity from 50 to 100 rooms in compliance with the district plan. The modernization and expansion are expected to be completed no later than the beginning of 2024.

Kathrine Munch-Tranholm has been appointed as Captain at Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen

Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen opened its doors on March 18th, 2019, less than a year before COVID19 restrictions were implemented in Denmark and most of Europe. But Moxy now see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it is the perfect time to strengthen the hotel's management team. To support this, Kathrine Munch-Tranholm has been appointed as Captain (Hotel Manager) as of March 7th, 2022, making her part of a big international hotel.

25hours opens its first hotel in Scandinavia on 15 March 2022

The 25hours Hotel Indre By has found its home in the heart of the Danish metropolis of Copenhagen, and will open its doors in spring 2022. The building, which dates back to the 19th century, once housed a porcelain factory and was later used as a university building. Centrally located between the Round Tower and the Købmagergade shopping street, one newly constructed building and three existing buildings are waiting to be explored. In fact the name says it all, since the Danish term 'Indre By' means inner city or city centre. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the Nørreport train station. This railway station is a central hub for the metro, high-speed trains and buses. It is also possible to travel directly to the airport from the station.

Lise Egenius has been appointed as General Manager at 25hours Hotel Indre By

The 'Head Mermaid' has been found for the first Scandinavian 25hours hotel, which plans to open its doors in Copenhagen in spring 2022. Lise Egenius has assumed the management of the complex, which is situated in the heart of the city centre and comprises four buildings and 243 rooms, with immediate effect. The native Dane has previously managed the Hotel Guldsmeden, amongst other establishments, and has already opened two hotels in the Scandinavian metropolis for Brøchner Hotels.

Core Hospitality Signs Agreement With Marriott International To Bring Fairfield By Marriott To Denmark

Danish management company Core Hospitality has signed an agreement with Marriott International to debut Fairfield by Marriott in Denmark. Expected to open in 2023, Fairfield by Marriott Copenhagen Nordhavn will be located in the city's North Harbour district, just five kilometres from the city centre. Thoughtfully considered for the European market, the 222- guestroom hotel is set to offerthe brand's renowned warm service, along with amenities including 24/7 retail outlet, bar, gym and bike rental.

Marriott International’s longer stay brand is expected to debut in Denmark’s capital in 2023

Marriott International announced today that it has signed an agreement with Danish hotel operator Core Hospitality to bring the first Residence Inn by Marriott to the Nordics. Residence Inn by Marriott Copenhagen, Nordhavn will be located in Copenhagen's North Harbour district, just five kilometres from the city center. Owned by PFA Properties, the hotel will become part of the group's prestigious Nordø development project in the North Harbour area. With construction having begun in Q2 2020, the property is expected to open in 2023.
