Marriott International's next-gen traveling brand, Moxy Hotels, is opening a new hotel in Tromsø, the go-to city in Norway to experience the northern lights. The new hotel and its 200 rooms are expected to open late 2021. This project will be the third Moxy hotel to open in Norway and the northernmost Marriott property. Marriott already has one hotel established in Norway, Moxy Oslo X, and another one is being developed in Bergen. The latter will also be operated by Core Hospitality. Daimyo, the hotel owner and developer, has chosen to develop Moxy Hotels in cooperation with Core Hospitality, the Danish hotel management company that also operates Moxy in Copenhagen and with plans to develop another in Bergen, Norway. A new, international brand will improve the quality of the hotel market in Tromsø and secure the right profile for the property.
Three months after Deutsche Hospitality took over the Scandinavian hotel brand, the twelfth hotel of the family-run Zleep Hotels opened on 04 June 2019 in Aarhus North, Denmark.

The Deutsche Hospitality is getting the market entry in Northern Europe by opening the first Steigenberger Hotel in Sønderborg, close to the German-Danish Border on the 6th of May 2019. The brand-new Steigenberger Alsik, which is managed by the RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group, provides 190 rooms and suites, more than 4500 m² of health and beauty spa and three restaurants charged by the Danish celebrity chef Jesper Koch.

Core Hospitality has appointed Swedish Camilla Jerre to lead the launch of the new 226 bedroomed Moxy Copenhagen, Marriott's lifestyle hotel brand. As the hotel's Captain, the brand's twist on the General Manager position, Camilla will be introducing Copenhagen to the Moxy brand. The hotel is due to open in the Sydhavnen district in March 2019. Having been inspired by the Scandinavian functional design culture, it is only fitting that the brand is finally opening in the Nordic capital.
In 2019, Zleep Hotel Aalborg is opening in central Aalborg right next to Aalborg train station. A few years ago, we had a cooperation with AaB, the local sports team, and we are pleased to finally be returning to North Jutland. It has long been on our wish list to reopen in Aalborg; not just because it is a great city, but also because we are truly established nationwide in Denmark. In cooperation with A. Enggaard, we will open Zleep Hotel Aalborg with 126 rooms in 2019.
Emil Hauge will be leading the new Zleep Hotel Aalborg when it opens on January 21st, 2019. Emil has a strong background from the hospitality industry, and one of his biggest projects is to find a new team to fill the many job opportunities at the hotel.
Just one year after being established, Core Hospitality has become a strong player on the Danish hotel scene. The potential of the white label management company is big, and the organization is preparing for further growth in 2019.
New profile has been appointed General Manager at Quality Airport Hotel Dan in Copenhagen. The operations of the 240-room hotel were taken over by Core Hospitality on May 1st. The experienced Sanne Færgsted has been hired as General Manager of the property. Meanwhile, a new Revenue Manager has also been hired to Core Hospitality, who will primarily focus on the hotel in Copenhagen.

The company is looking very much forward to operating the airport hotel in Kastrup, Copenhagen.

The project has now broken ground in Copenhagen where the large 228-room hotel will be operated by Danish franchisee, Core Hospitality. The hotel is expected to open in March 2019.
