IHG Hotels & Resorts opens Hotel Indigo Bordeaux - Centre Chartrons

For its third opening in France, Hotel Indigo, part of the IHG Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, has chosen the bohemian city of Bordeaux as its new "pied-à-terre". This design-led boutique hotel is located in the central Chartrons district, a picturesque neighbourhood just a short stroll from the Garonne River. Hotel Indigo is one of the only hotel brands that delivers a beautiful perspective of the neighbourhood, bringing its sights, sounds, and flavours into our spaces. The boutique hotel in Paris, designed by Tremend, is now open

The new hotel operates as Hotel Alberte, which is a tribute to the great-grandmother of the hotel's owners, who bore this name and was also the founder of the family business, specializing in the production of the bottle cork and cognac. Respect for tradition and history is also reflected in the interior design, with some of the historic elements of the previous furnishings being preserved.

Lisa Slinkman has been appointed as General Manager at Cour des Vosges

French hospitality group Evok is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Slinkman as General Manager of Cour des Vosges, a luxury extended stay property in the heart of Paris' Le Marais district. A natural heritage site of the former Hôtel de Montbrun, Cour des Vosges is the only hotel on the Place des Vosges that boasts a stunning bird's eye view of the Square Louis XIII.

Canopy by Hilton makes its debut in the south of France

Canopy by Hilton Cannes has opened its doors to guests from around the world. With panoramic views over the Mediterranean from one of the city's best rooftop terraces, interiors designed by acclaimed designer Ramy Fischer and a relaxing swimming pool that flows from indoor to outdoor, the hotel is set to be the new key feature in Cannes. Jaime Faus has been appointed as General Manager at Pullman Montparnasse

Jaime Faus is no stranger to the Accor group since he was, from 2000, director of operations (Prague, Bucharest) then general manager of several Novotel in Eastern Europe (Vilnius and Moscow in particular) before joining the Pullman brand and being promoted to Managing Director of Pullman London in 2013 then cluster Vice-President of Operations for the London region 3 years later. In 2017, after an almost exclusively European career, he was appointed by the French hotel giant, General Manager of Pullman Jakarta, Indonesia.

Experimental Group has opened the doors to Regina Experimental in Biarritz, following a full refurbishment and sensitive redesign by Group Interior Designer, Dorothée Meilichzon.
