Stefan Frank has been appointed as General Manager at Steigenberger Icon Frankfurter Hof

A familiar face with an additional new responsibility: Stefan Frank, who as Senior Director Operations is already in charge of Deutsche Hospitality's Rhine-Main/Belgium cluster of 13 hotels, will also have direct responsibility for the flagship hotel of the brand family as of January 01, 2023. Previously, Stefan Frank had led the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt am Main as General Manager until April 2021.

Josef Filser has been promoted to Head of Germany Hospitality Team at Cushman & Wakefield in Germany

Josef Filser has taken over as Head of Hospitality Germany at Cushman & Wakefield. In this new role, he is responsible for all transactions and lettings as well as strategic advisory mandates for the international real estate consultancy's Hospitality division in Germany. The 36-year-old reports to Alexander Kropf, Head of Capital Markets Germany at C&W, and succeeds Stefan Giesemann, who has left the company.

Kai Behrens has been appointed as General Manager at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt

A change in top management at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt, Germany: Kai Behrens took over the leadership of the five-star superior hotel on 1 November. The 49-year-old has a long history of experience at Kempinski: He has been working solely for the hotel group since 2007 at destinations all around the world. Most recently, he served as General Manager, responsible for both Kempinski Hotel Adriatic in Croatia and Kempinski Palace Portorož in Slovenia. It is his work at these holiday resorts that helped him set new objectives for Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt.
