Centara Expands Footprint in Japan with the Signing of Centara Life Osaka

Centara Hotels & Resorts, Thailand's leading hotel operator, has announced the signing of Centara Life Osaka, marking the group's second property in Japan and further strengthening its presence in one of Asia's most dynamic hospitality markets. Located in the heart of Osaka, the 300-key hotel is conveniently situated near multiple train and subway stations, just 450 metres from Centara Grand Hotel Osaka. Beyond supporting Centara's long-term international expansion strategy, this close proximity will foster a shared ecosystem between the two Osaka properties, enhancing operational efficiency, guest experience synergies, and brand awareness in Japan. The property will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment before reopening under the Centara Life brand in Q2 2026. The total project value is estimated at JPY 12.7 billion, comprising JPY 5.3 billion in equity investment—jointly funded on a 50:50 basis by CENTEL (Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited) and Taisei Corporation—and approximately JPY 7.4 billion in project financing. One of Centara's six distinctive brands, Centara Life offers a contemporary, lifestyle-driven hotel collection that combines modern design, elevated essentials, and seamless travel experiences. The brand delivers fresh and flexible stays that uplift everyday travel for all, blending comfort and convenience with Centara's signature warm Thai-inspired hospitality. Hyatt Announces Plans for Andaz Hiroshima

Park Hyatt Tokyo Reopening on December 9, 2025 - A Timeless Classic Refined

Park Hyatt Tokyo - the first Park Hyatt in Asia - announced it will reopen on December 9, 2025. Room, restaurant, events and spa reservations will begin on September 24, 2025 at 12:00 pm, Japan time for arrivals from December 9, 2025. Located on the westside of Tokyo in Shinjuku, Park Hyatt Tokyo occupies the 39th to 52nd floors of Shinjuku Park Tower, a modern Japanese architectural masterpiece designed by Pritzker Prize-winner Kenzo Tange. Following a comprehensive property-wide refinement since May 2024, the hotel will unveil newly designed guestrooms and suites, restored public spaces, event venues and enhanced dining destinations, including Girandole by Alain Ducasse and The Peak Lounge & Bar. The iconic New York Grill & Bar, modern Japanese restaurant Kozue, Club On The Park fitness center and spa, and The Library - a curated collection of more than 2,000 books - will be fully restored to their original designs. As part of the project, Park Hyatt Tokyo will reduce the number of rooms and suites from 177 to 171, introducing a new suite category.
