Fadi Musharafieh has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Beirut

A Lebanese national, Fadi brings with him more than 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with prior appointments as general manager of Lancaster Hotels and Suites and senior management roles in Mövenpick Hotel and Resort Beirut and InterContinental Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut along with an academic role teaching for seven years Hospitality at Sagesse University Lebanon, affiliated with Lausanne Hotel School.

Karim El Asmar has been appointed as Company Owner at Morenito Cantina del Barrío

Karim El Asmar ESSEC IMHI 1997 has recently opened Morenito Cantina del Barrío restaurant in Beirut. Morenito is a new concept targeted at offering a latin inspired original culinary experiences and destined for a multi-unit operation in the mid-range F&B sector. Karim is also founder of Neové (Neové is a boutique investment and business development consulting entity) and Hospitality Program Coordinator at Université Saint Joseph in Beirut. Prior to that Karim was co-founder and Managing partner for 7 years of Hodema (a regional consulting company based in Beirut, specialized in the hospitality, restaurant and real estate businesses).

Konstantinos Kourotsidis has been appointed as General Manager at Radisson Blu Martinez

Kourostsidis takes over from previous GM Nizam Bou Antoun who will be moving to Saudi Arabia as general manager of the Park inn by Radisson Al Khobar after spending four years and a half years in Beirut. A Greek/German national and graduate from Cornell University in hotel revenue management, Kourotsidis originally started his hospitality career in food and beverage as commis de banquet at the Copthorne and Millennium Hotel, Hanover before later becoming demi chef, chef de banquet and finally restaurant supervisor. In 2000 he joined Rezidor as service manager F&B at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Hanover and moved to Ireland a year later for the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway as head waiter F&B before returning to Germany as F&B manager for the Radisson Blu Resort Schloss Fleesensee. Kourostsidis began his career in the Middle East in 2005 when he assisted the pre-opening of the Radisson Blu Resort El Quseir in Egypt as F&B manager before being appointed director F&B at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Alexandria, Egypt in 2008.

Fady's sixteen year long career with IHG began in 1996 when he was appointed as Assistant Banquet Manager for Intercontinental Hotel, Riyadh. Since then he has played many important roles with IHG in Intercontinental Phoenicia, Beirut followed by InterContinental Hotel Abu Dhabi which lead him to his previous role as Hotel Manager for Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites Abu Dhabi Yas Island.

Georges Karam has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon Mountain Resort and Spa

With an educational background in Marketing, Georges Karam brings with him over 11 years of experience in the hospitality industry with a main focus on Sales & Marketing. Karam joined InterContinental Hotels Group in 2000 at one of its flagship properties, Phoenicia InterContinental, IHG’s first property in the Middle East that has grown to be a national landmark. His last assignment with the group was as Director of Sales at Phoenicia where he successfully led a dynamic team. Karam will oversee the Sales & Marketing department of the 135-room property; an ideally located Resort & Spa set in the mountains of Mzaar at an altitude of 2000m and only an hour away from Beirut international airport.
