The growing brand's debut property: Haven Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, is slated to open this Fall 2018.Daniella's PR career first began at The Zimmerman Agency where she was an integral part of the Hard Rock International team and helped launch numerous Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos around the world, including Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, while supporting PR efforts for an existing collection of more than 20 hotels worldwide, including the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos throughout the Caribbean. Most recently, Daniella was a Group Account Supervisor at the Seattle-based Fearey Group where she supported PR efforts for Stonebridge Companies' Moxy Seattle - the first of its kind of the West Coast - and the new Embassy Suites Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square. In this new role, Daniella will oversee all media and press relations, as well as brand partnerships, for the debut property and fast-growing brand.

Pascal Dupuis has been appointed as General Manager at Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya

Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya, an upscale resort nestled in the heart of Mexico's Caribbean beachfront, is pleased to announce the appointment of hospitality veteran Pascal Dupuis as General Manager. In his new role, Dupuis will manage all aspects of the luxury resort and its day-to-day operations including the 214 guestrooms and suites, Naum Wellness & Spa, four diverse restaurant concepts as well as 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space. He will also focus on the training, learning and development of the staff.

Denys Montes de Oca has been appointed as Corporate Leisure Sales & Marketing Director at Velas Resorts

Denys Montes de Oca has been promoted to Corporate Leisure Sales & Marketing Director for Mexico's Velas Resorts. In her new role, she'll be heading up the resort collection's sales team in the US and Canada as well as spearheading efforts in emerging markets like South America, Europe (UK, Germany and Russia) and Australia. She will oversee nearly 20 sales representatives, currently based in New York, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Chicago, San Francisco and Houston among other locations, as well as new team members planned for Boston, Miami and the Midwest in the near future. Denys has worked for the Velas Resorts since 2003. Most recently she served as Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas resorts in Riviera Maya, Riviera Nayarit and Los Cabos. The appointment is effective June 30.

Marinette joins Rosewood with over 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales and marketing. Most recently, Marinette spent eight years as director of global sales at Radisson Hotel Group, where she managed sales strategies for the company's global portfolio of top hotels. Previously, Marinette worked as director of sales at Jumeirah Essex House in New York City and director of marketing at Metropolitan Hotel and Tower in Beirut, as well as senior sales manager at Marriott International. Marinette graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Institutional Management and attended the Global Executive Leadership Professional Program at the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.

Trained in Argentina and passionate about French cuisine, Schwuger brings his unique sensibility for creating a fresh approach to the dining experience. Prior to joining Sheraton, Cristian served as the Executive Chef at the W in Santiago, Chile, as well as various positions at several Relais & Chateaux across South America. Schwuger, who joined the Sheraton Grand Los Cabos in July 2016, has quickly moved up the ranks and is ready to take the helm. A former professional baseball player, Quinones has an innate understanding of the power of teamwork, a fiercely competitive nature and a goal-oriented character that he brings to his new leadership role overseeing the team at Chileno Bay Resort.Fueled by a desire to find the opportunity hidden in every challenge, Quinones has found success in both professional baseball and the hospitality industry. Previously he was at Capella Hotels and Resorts where he managed properties in Zihuantanejo and Los Cabos, Mexico, playing a significant role in the pre-opening and launch of the brand's first residential hotel project in Mexico. Early in his career, he worked with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he quickly rose through the ranks taking positions in Las Vegas, St. Thomas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Cancun. Moving to Los Cabos with his wife and two daughters to accept his new leadership role with Auberge Resorts, Quinones joins the owners of residences at Chileno Bay Resort and nearby Discovery Land Company's Chileno Bay Club to call Cabo's most celebrated coast his home. Quinones graduated from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Arts, Communications. He transitioned into baseball's minor leagues following college where he had the opportunity to play for four years with the Cincinnati Reds organization. His interest in hospitality was first piqued during off-season runs along the beaches of Isla Verde, Puerto Rico, where he became intrigued and enamored with the hotels that lined the coast.
