In his new role, Miethig will manage the day-to-day operations of the resort"s food and beverage department, execute strategies to drive revenue, and deliver the highest level of guest experiences. In 2005, Miethig started his career with Steigenberger Hotel Deidesheim in Germany. This was followed by several positions in Vienna at the Grand Hotel, Palais Coburg, The Ring and The Intercontinental Vienna. He joined Kempinski Hotels in 2011 and held key leadership positions for the group in China, Seychelles and Germany. Prior to joining Six Senses Zighy Bay, Miethig was the food and beverage director at Gili Lankanfushi in the Republic of Maldives. Miethig is a 2009 graduate of the School for Hotel Management Suedliche Weinstrasse in Germany.
