InterContinental Muscat welcomes back Executive Chef Emmanuel Pauliat. Chef Emmanuel is bringing with him over 28 years of international culinary experiences from various five-star hotels and a Michelin-starred restaurant across Middle East, Europe, and East Africa. He will be at the helm of all culinary aspects of InterContinental Muscat, from menu enhancements to efficient kitchen operations including six bars and restaurants, room service, large banquets, outside catering events together with his dynamic kitchen team.

Adnan Khan has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage at InterContinental Muscat

Adnan Khan joins as Director of Food and Beverage and will oversee the hotel's food and beverage operations, focusing on innovation, creativity, and providing extraordinary culinary experiences for guests. Khan brings with him an extensive wealth of knowledge with 18 years of global experience in luxury operations including East Africa, Malaysia, Australia, India, and Dubai. He most recently served as the Cluster Director of Food and Beverage for Kempinski Kenya and prior to that he held several positions in various brands including Marriott, Four Seasons, Jumeirah, and InterContinental hotels.

Sandro Mazza has been appointed as General Manager at Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa

Sandro Mazza has been promoted to general manager of Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa. In his new role, he will be responsible for directing and evaluating the day-to-day activities of Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa's 180 guest rooms, four dining outlets, state-of-the-art wellness facilities including Hareer Spa By L'Occitane and a purpose built fitness centre.

Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Apartments Coming to Salalah, Oman

Salalah is the capital of the Dhofar province, in the south of Oman and famous for its beautiful beaches and rich marine life. Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Apartments, Salalah will be strategically located close to Salalah city center, in the coastal area and just 5km away from the new Salalah international airport. Andre Miethig has been appointed as EAM F&B at Six Senses Zighy Bay

Six Senses Zighy Bay has appointed Andre Miethig as executive assistant manager for food and beverage operations; he has more than 10 years of experience in the catering sector of hospitality. In his new role, Miethig will manage the day-to-day operations of the resort"s food and beverage department, execute strategies to drive revenue, and deliver the highest level of guest experiences. In 2005, Miethig started his career with Steigenberger Hotel Deidesheim in Germany. This was followed by several positions in Vienna at the Grand Hotel, Palais Coburg, The Ring and The Intercontinental Vienna. He joined Kempinski Hotels in 2011 and held key leadership positions for the group in China, Seychelles and Germany. Prior to joining Six Senses Zighy Bay, Miethig was the food and beverage director at Gili Lankanfushi in the Republic of Maldives. Miethig is a 2009 graduate of the School for Hotel Management Suedliche Weinstrasse in Germany.
