Marco Arlotti has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Four Seasons Doha

Four Seasons Hotel Doha has appointed Chef Marco Arlotti as Chef de Cuisine at the Hotel’s Italian restaurant Il Teatro. In his new role, Arlotti will oversee all culinary operations for the 124-seat signature restaurant. Chef Marco brings more than 14 years of international luxury hospitality experience to Doha. Arlotti joins Four Seasons Hotel Doha most recently from Four Seasons Hotel Milano, where he served as Sous Chef, overseeing two of the Hotel’s signature restaurants – La Veranda and Il Foyer, as well as culinary operations for banquets and room service. During his six-year tenure at Four Seasons Hotel Milano, he was mentored by Italy’s acclaimed Chef Sergio Mei and had the opportunity to further advance his culinary skills and technique under Chef Sergio’s direction. Together with Chef Sergio, Chef Marco had the opportunity to teach Italian cuisine at the prestigious culinary school Le Notre in Paris. Prior to Milan, Chef Marco perfected his culinary skills working in acclaimed restaurants throughout Europe, such as Michelin Star Joël Robuchon in Paris as chef de partie.

Andrew Bozoki has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Nobu @Four Seasons Hotel Doha

Four Seasons Hotel Doha announces the appointment of Andrew Bozoki as Chef de Cuisine at the Hotel’s highly anticipated new restaurant Nobu Doha, scheduled to open by the end of the year. As part of the 232-room luxury property, the restaurant is well appointed along the Hotel’s exclusive waterfront setting overlooking the Arabian Gulf. In the coveted role of Chef de Cuisine, Bozoki will oversee all culinary operations for the signature restaurant, which features Chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa’s signature new style Japanese cuisine blended with exotic global flavours.

Layne Nguyen has been appointed as General Manager at Nobu Doha

Four Seasons Hotel Doha announces the appointment of Layne Nguyen as General Manager at Nobu Doha, the Hotel’s highly anticipated new restaurant scheduled to open by the end of the year. As the world’s largest Nobu, the tri-level restaurant is well appointed alongside the Hotel's idyllic waterfront setting overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Layne, who has had an extensive career with Nobu Restaurants, makes the move to Doha from Nobu San Diego in California, United States where he most recently served as assistant general manager. While in California, he earned the coveted certification and title as sake sommelier and created exquisite food pairing menus, including the ideal serving temperatures for each sake, elevating the already exquisite dining experience for guests. Layne originally began working with Nobu Restaurants at Nobu Dallas in Texas, United States in 2006, in various management roles. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

Pascal Eggerstedt has been named General Manager at InterContinental® Doha The City

Prior to joining InterContinental Doha The City, Eggerstedt served as General Manager at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain where he lead a $12 million renovation and was recognised by the Minister of Labour as one of the leading development and career centres for local talent in the hospitality industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Eggerstedt’s well-rounded career began with various operational roles at five-star luxury properties in Europe and the Caribbean. He then moved into IHG Corporate Offices in Hong Kong and Singapore in the Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement department. Subsequently, Eggerstedt held operations roles in Indonesia before joining the IHG Global Headquarters in London as Director Operations Support for the EMEA region.
