Mieke De Schepper has been appointed as EVP Online Travel and MD Asia Pacific at Amadeus, Singapore

Amadeus has appointed Mieke De Schepper as Executive Vice President for Online Travel and Managing Director for Asia Pacific.De Schepper comes from Egencia, the Travel Management Company of Expedia Group, where she held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.Previously, De Schepper was the Vice President of Expedia Group's Lodging Partner Solutions in Asia Pacific, responsible for building and managing the hotel relationships in the region.Prior to Expedia Group, she spent 10 years with Phillips Electronics having held various global, regional and local leadership roles in product, marketing and sales.In her new role, De Schepper will be committed to helping online travel agencies, travel media companies and travel start-ups grow their businesses and position Amadeus as the partner of choice in online travel.As part of Amadeus' Travel Channels business, De Schepper will report to Decius Valmorbida.Having lived and worked across the globe including Asia Pacific for the last 14 years, De Schepper will also assume the regional leadership role and will continue to be based in Singapore.

Louis Tan has been appointed as Head Chef at Beast & Butterflies, M Social Singapore

M Social Singapore is delighted to announce the appointment of Louis Tan as Head Chef of Beast & Butterflies, with effect from October 1st, 2018. With an accomplished culinary background that spans 17 years of experience at dining establishments across Australia and Singapore, Chef Louis brings with him a diverse resume of stints at various hotels, resorts and restaurants. He joins M Social Singapore from his prior role as Head Chef at one of the concepts under The Lo & Behold Group.

Kazi Hassan has been appointed as Executive Chef Kazi Hassan at Hilton Singapore

Hilton Singapore welcomes new Executive Chef Kazi Hassan who brings over 15 years of international culinary experiences from various acclaimed establishments, five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurant across Australia, Middle East and Asia. Born in Bangladesh and raised in Australia at a very young age, Hassan proclaims himself a modern Australian Chef yet holds true to his Bangladeshi roots with a penchant for spices and aromatic flavours. Hassan will be at helm of all culinary aspects of Hilton Singapore, from menu enhancements to efficient kitchen operations including six F&B outlets, room service, large banquet and outside catering events together with his kitchen brigade of over 80 chefs. Grown and trained in Melbourne, Hassan started his culinary journey back in 2002 and spent over six years in Australia honing his skills at large banquet operations catering for up to 2,500 guests. In 2008, Hassan decided to broaden his culinary horizons and travel to Doha, Qatar as a Chef de Cuisine at Market Restaurant, inspired by one of the world's most famous two Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. After his two-year tenure in Doha, Hassan returned to Sydney as an Executive Sous Chef at Sheraton on the Park Hotel. His first tenure in South East Asia started with Hilton in Kuala Lumpur as Executive Sous Chef, where he oversaw a brigade of over 200 chefs and stewards across ten F&B outlets. His last posting before Hilton Singapore was with Hilton Colombo in Sri Lanka as an Executive Chef where he successfully oversaw the master plan to redesign the hotel's F&B offerings that resulted in the successful opening of Graze Kitchen; an international cuisine concept restaurant.

Kitmun Fung has been appointed as Vice President of Development, Asia Pacific at Dream Hotel Group

Kitmun Fung oversees the development of new projects and sourcing new deals in the Asia Pacific region for Dream Hotel Group and its portfolio of lifestyle brands: Dream Hotels, Time Hotels, The Chatwal and Unscripted Hotels. Fung brings a broad background in business strategy, finance, and mergers & acquisitions to Dream Hotel Group with nearly 10 years working in financial services, and another decade of hospitality experience. Fung most recently served as Director of Development (Greater China) at Hilton Worldwide, where she played an instrumental role in executing Hilton's Greater China development strategy. Fung also worked with Raffles International, where she worked on mergers & acquisitions and development for Raffles' European operations. Fung also held positions with Intraco Ltd., Daimler-Benz, and Merrill Lynch International Bank. Fung received her Master of Administration from the University of Hong Kong and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Nanyang Technological University.
