Generation Y are connected 24/7 and are comfortable in a world filled with touch screens and quick service. Located in an old industrial warehouse, CityHub combines the privacy of a hotel, but the affordability of a hostel.

Cindy Fisher has been appointed as Global Head at CWT Meetings & Events

Joost van Beek has been appointed as General Manager at Jaz Amsterdam

Joost van Beek (37) has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Jaz Amsterdam. This will be the first hotel to operate under Steigenberger's new brand and is scheduled to open in the autumn. Mr. van Beek has worked in various roles for the NH Hotel Group since 1990, and his most recent position was as Regional Director of Operations. Jaz in the City's target groups comprise open-minded world explorers, weekend adventurers, foodies, bizcationers and price-conscious modern business travellers and consultants who are seeking to enhance their trips with elements of leisure wherever possible. The thing that all these people have in common is a desire to embrace authentic experiences in a city hotel. The third brand Jaz in the City is positioned between Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts and InterCityHotels.

Torill Wijnen has been appointed as W Insider at W Amsterdam

W Amsterdam has announced Torill Wijnen as the W Insider following a nation-wide search. During a face-to-face casting session in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam-born Torill was handpicked from hundreds of candidates, who all applied for the sought-after position at the hotel. She will take up herposition from September when W Amsterdam officially opens in the heart of Amsterdam.
