Deutsche Hospitality launches in Ras Al Khaimah in partnership with Al Hamra

Deutsche Hospitality is expanding into the United Arab Emirates by joining forces with Al Hamra the leading lifestyle developer and investment company in Ras Al Khaimah to take on management of the Al Hamra Residences and Al Hamra Village Hotel. The resorts will use the Steigenberger Residences and MAXX by Deutsche Hospitality brand names in future. This expansion will enable Deutsche Hospitality to gain market entry to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

Nawaf Hassan has been appointed as director of operations at Fairmont Dubai

Fairmont Dubai has appointed Nawaf Hassan as director of operations. He steps into the luxury hotel group with 20 years of experience behind him. At Fairmont Dubai, the Jordanian will be responsible for leading the team to ensure full compliance to operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards. Hassan will also focus on the effective implementation and delivery of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Core Standards at all times.

Gregoire Berger has been appointed as Executive Chef at Ossiano at Atlantis, the Palm

Ossiano at Atlantis, the Palm, has launched a new dining chapter in March helmed by chef Gregoire Berger. Widely regarded as one of the most creative and innovative chefs in the UAE, Berger departed the seafood restaurant in January 2021, only to return a year later. Ossiano's new menu, available from March to summer 2022, will focus on Berger's memories of travel and childhood, starting off in the oceans of Brittany and moving through several coastal cities across the world.
