Martin Halsall has been appointed as Campus Director at Glion Institute of Higher Education London Campus

Glion Institute of Higher Education, one of the world’s top three institutions of higher education for an international career in hospitality management, appointed Martin Halsall as Campus Director of its campus in London, effective February 18, 2015. The Glion London campus, hosted by the University of Roehampton in the Western part of the city, opened in 2012.

Barry Dawson has been appointed as Vice President Hotel Finance at Interstate Hotels & Resorts UK

Barry Dawson joins Interstate from Macdonald Hotels and Resorts, where he has worked throughout his career in a variety of roles stretching back to the late 1990s where he started as a Hotel Financial Controller, before being promoted through the ranks to Hotels Finance Director, the position he has held for the last five years.

Christine Ourmieres-Widener has been appointed as Chief Global Sales Officer at American Express Global Business Travel (“GBT”)

American Express Global Business Travel (“GBT”) today announced the appointment of Christine Ourmieres-Widener as Chief Global Sales Officer. In this role, Ms. Ourmieres-Widener, who was previously Chief Executive Officer of CityJet, will be responsible for GBT’s Global Sales organization and Global Client Group, which work with GBT’s largest prospective and existing customers globally, as well as its Global Business Consulting division. Ms. Ourmieres-Widener, who will officially start with GBT in June, will report to GBT’s Chief Commercial & Technology Officer, Philippe Chérèque.

Guillaume Thevenot has been appointed as Head of Vacation Rentals at Voyage Privé

Guillaume THEVENOT ESSEC IMHI 2000 has recently been appointed Head of Vacation Rentals to lead a new Business Unit within the French travel group Voyage Privé. Guillaume was previously working for HouseTrip as their Director of Business Development. Prior to that, Guillaume held different positions with Amadeus, TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Priceline.
