Kimpton Hotel in San Antonio Celebrates On-Schedule Topping Out Milestone

White Lodging and its associates are delighted to announce the on-schedule topping out of San Antonio's inaugural Kimpton Hotel. This construction milestone keeps the 10-story edifice on track, with the project having commenced in October of the previous year. Kimpton San Antonio, situated at 423 S Alamo in downtown San Antonio, is slated to open its doors in the final quarter of 2024.

In his new role, Sallo will oversee all culinary operations at the C. Baldwin, including managing on-site dining concepts, Rosalie Italian Soul and The Lobby Bar, hiring and training personnel, and designing menus alongside Chef Chris Cosentino.

Max Paulin has been appointed as Director of Revenue at Fairmont Dallas

Fairmont Dallas is proud to announce Max Paulin has been appointed Director of Revenue. Reporting to the General Manager, he will be responsible for overseeing all revenue management operations at Fairmont Dallas, the iconic Dallas Arts District hotel.Paulin brings an extensive background in revenue management in the hospitality industry to his new role at Fairmont Dallas. Paulin, who curr ently serves as Director of Revenue for Fairmont Chateau Laurier, will be relocating to Texas to begin the new role in Dallas, effective June 21, 2023. Paulin will be expanding his luxury hotel portfolio in North America, transitioning from Canada to the United States.Paulin's long standing hospitality career began shortly after he attended Universite de Moncton, where he joined Accor Global Reservations Centre's sales and marketing team as a Central Reservation System Analyst and later relocated to Fairmont Royal York as a Revenue Management Analyst. Growing in his role and knowledge of the industry, Paulin was later appointed as Director of Revenue Management at Fairmont Winnipeg.

Lauren Brown has been appointed as Dual Director of Sales at Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Grand Prairie

Brown previously worked with Hilton and brings with her an in-depth knowledge of the brand. As a native of the area, Brown has deep roots and a genuine commitment to the growth and success of the community she serves. Prior to joining the team, Brown held progressive sales and operations positions with SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn by Marriott and Holiday Inn, and successfully oversaw the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in Ft. Worth. In her new role, Brown will oversee sales and marketing strategy with the aim to drive new business opportunities and revenue growth.

Donna Runnels has been appointed as Dual General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Grand Prairie

A hospitality veteran of over 25 years, Donna Runnels boasts a wealth of industry knowledge and extensive expertise in launching new properties. Runnels began her career working in full-service hotels in the heart of downtown Dallas and has held leadership positions with hospitality's biggest names, including Island Hospitality and Crescent Hotels and Resorts. Throughout her career she's assisted in opening new properties, revitalizing existing ones, and navigating unprecedented obstacles brought on by the pandemic. As the newly appointed Dual General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites, Runnels will oversee the opening of the highly anticipated dual-branded hotel and day-to-day operations of both the hotel and conference center.

Anna Warren has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at The Adolphus

Anna Warren brings years of experience in hospitality and food & beverage operations to her role at The Adolphus. Warren first joined The Adolphus in 2016 overseeing the operations of the restaurants and bars within the hotel as Beverage Manager. Since then, she has held various positions in the company ranging from the General Manager of City Hall Bistro, Food and Beverage Recruiter, Senior F&B Operations Manager, and most recently, Assistant General Manager at The Adolphus.

Rolf J. Weithofer has been appointed as Executive Chef of Culinary Operations at The Adolphus

Relocating from New Jersey, Chef Weithofer brings over 22 years of professional culinary experience to his role at The Adolphus. Most recently, serving as the Executive Chef at Stone Harbor Golf Club, he led the kitchen of two restaurants of the private golf club and was responsible for overseeing daily operations for social banquet events.

Charley Morales has been appointed as General Manager at The C. Baldwin Hotel

Morales joins the C. Baldwin Hotel team with over two decades of experience within the hospitality industry. A Texas native, Morales comes from The Laura Hotel in Houston where he served as the general manager, thoughtfully leading the team through the hotel's opening phase. He additionally held general manager and operations roles at distinguished brands including Sheraton Music City, The Westin Park Central and The Westin Dallas Downtown. Recognized for his hotel management, leadership, as well as employee engagement, Morales has received a multitude of industry awards including Best in Class General Manager by HEI Hotels and Resorts. He currently serves as an active board member of the Houston Hospitality Alliance.
