Aloft Denver North Westminster to Open in The Orchard Town Center

Aloft Hotels, Marriott International's innovation incubator brand, built with a forward-looking lens and the infrastructure to experiment with emerging technologies, announced that the Aloft Denver North Westminster is set to open this Monday, September 7. The 120-room hotel located at 14780 Delaware Street will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by 14780 Delaware 1 LLC and managed by Renascent Hospitality of Greenwood Village, Colorado. General Manager Tony Loos and Director of Sales & Marketing Katie Palmer lead the management team at the property.

Bill Greenwood has been appointed as Executive Chef at Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection

Framed by the majestic 14,000-foot peaks and wide blue skies of Colorado's Rocky Mountains from its perch in Telluride's Mountain Village, Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection today announces Bill Greenwood as executive chef. Greenwood brings more than 13 years of culinary experience at some of Colorado's top kitchens and as a corporate executive chef in Texas and California to his new role. Beyond helming the hotel's signature modern mountain restaurant Black Iron Kitchen + Bar, Greenwood will oversee all food and beverage operations for the hotel, including M Lounge, the Sky Terrace, in-room dining, catering and creative pop-up culinary activations.

Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colo. has completed a renovation of its 124 guest rooms including newly remodeled bathrooms as well as new paint, furniture and fixtures. Since 2016, San Diego-based RAR Hospitality has been managing the branded hotel including its renovation and in February 2020, Chicago-based hotel management company, Hostmark Hospitality Group assumed RAR's hotel collection including Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods, managing the completion of the renovation.

Lauren Warkentin has been appointed as Membership Manager at The Athletic Club at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon, Vail Valley

Warkentin formerly served as Marketing Manager for KJUS North America Inc. and East West Hospitality. Most recently she worked for Gorsuch as the Site Merchandiser, Content Specialist and Social Media Manager. A graduate of Washington & Lee University and an avid endurance runner, Warkentin has hiked all of the Colorado 14ers and is currently working on climbing the rest of the Colorado Centennial Peaks.

Steve Klehfoth has been appointed as Club Manager at The Athletic Club at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon, Vail Valley

Klehfoth is now overseeing the Athletic Club's extensive class schedule, fitness programming and facility upkeep. Klehfoth has lived in the Vail Valley since 2007, working as a manager for Ptarmigan Sports and Umbrella Roofing & Waterproofing. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Klehfoth is very involved in the Vail Valley community - serving as a Mountain Games Event Specialist for the Vail Valley Foundation and volunteering with the Birds of Prey races and the Kids Adventure Games. He is an avid cross country skier and travels Colorado playing disc golf as president of the local Flying Eagle Disc Society club.

Hunter Jones has been appointed as General Manager at Highline Vail

A member of the Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG ) task force team, Jones has extensive experience in property operations working directly with on-site teams and corporate revenue management throughout his eight years with the Atlanta-based, private hotel investment, ownership and management company. Most recently Jones served as the general manager at Courtyard Rockaway-Mt. Arlington, during which time the property was awarded the "Largest House Profit Increase Year Over Year" in 2018. He was also the acting general manager for Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Mahwah in Mahwah, N.J. during the same time. Over his 20 years in the hospitality industry, Jones' experience spans from Atlanta and Albuquerque, N.M. to Dallas and Branson, Mo. with roles that include several task force positions, as well as assistant general manager and general manager.

Lori Adis has been appointed as Director of Sales at Highline

Adis, a sales leader for more than 20 years in the ski industry, most recently was the director of sales and marketing at Winter Park Mountain Lodge in Winter Park, Colo. There, her role included overall management of all group, travel agent, leisure, and e-commerce business as well as marketing initiatives. Adis' previous positions also include a regional market manager for BookingPal, a cloud based technology company within the vacation rental, resort, and hotel market; director of sales and marketing at Tivoli Lodge Vail, where she exceeded revenue goals for five consecutive years, increased the property's group revenue by 65% in five years and helped to increase overall property revenue by 54% in five years. Adis has also held various sales manager positions with Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center, Ski.com and Intrawest.

Kate Thompson has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Renaissance Hotel – Denver Downtown City Center

Thompson holds a strong background in the hospitality industry, having served most recently as area director of sales and marketing for Sage Hospitality in Nashville, Tennessee. She has also worked as director of sales and marketing for Union Station Hotel in Nashville and The Curtis Hotel in Denver.

Brian Leiker has been promoted to General Manager at Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center

Brian Leiker, a 19-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been promoted to general manager of the 230-room Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center, located within downtown Denver's historic former Colorado National Bank building. Leiker has been with Stonebridge Companies for 13 years and most recently served as general manager of the 302-room dual-branded Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Downtown Convention Center. Stephen Hopkins has been appointed as General Manager at Quality Inn & Suites at Garden of the Gods

Stephen Hopkins is the newly appointed General Manager of Quality Inn & Suites at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colo. and has a great hospitality background as well as varied experiences as a hotel leader. Hopkins was recently the Dual General Manager for the Springhill Suites and Towne Place Suites Colorado Springs. Prior to that, he was in San Diego working as the General Manager at the Courtyard San Diego Carlsbad. Hopkins has experiences with Wyndham, La Quinta and Hyatt Place. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver and he has both a Certified Hotel Administrator and Certified Revenue Management Executive designations.
