Nicholas Wirth has been appointed as General Manager at Collective Governors Island

Ziya Turgut has been appointed as Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage at Hyatt Place New York Chelsea

Newly opened Hyatt Place Chelsea has officially named Ziya Turgut as the property's food and beverage manager and head chef. Backed by an experienced team, chef Turgut will oversee all F&B operations including the Breakfast Bar, The Market, and the property's onsite restaurant and bar, The Placery, which offers a fusion-style menu. Furthermore, chef Turgut will helm operations of The Terrace, a year-round outdoor venue set to open this summer.

June opening for Radio Tower and Hotel, NYC

Radio Tower and Hotel is expected to open on June 16, 2022. This 22-story mixed-use development is located in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. Designed as a multihued series of stacked blocks, the building features a ceramic brick façade that breaks away into eight boxy volumes, each with its own distinct color. Drawing inspiration from the diversity and vibrancy of the existing community, the colors start with a vibrant lime green and yellow, then transition into subdued blue, red, orange, teal, and magenta materials. Along with the hotel space, the building features lofts, office space, and extensive event space. Above the hotel, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool deck and a third outdoor space above the 19th floor that will reportedly debut as a restaurant.

Tontine was located at the intersection of Wall and Water Streets and became one of the nation's busiest centers for buying and selling stocks.

216-Key Moxy Williamsburg Opening in 2022

Stonehill Taylor has carefully crafted the architecture of the building to fit in contextually with the surrounding neighborhood, while Basile Studio has designed the interiors. The hotel will be equipped with today's modern conveniences, tech-savvy amenities including touchless check-in, coworking spaces and two adjoining meetings studios, and a well-equipped fitness center. Adding to the surrounding streetscape, the hotel will also boast a main-floor bar, café/restaurant, and cocktail lounge. Crowning the building will be an indoor/outdoor rooftop, with an expansive terrace boasting unmatched views of the city skyline, Manhattan and the East River. Leeding Builders Group is managing construction of the project.

London-based interior designer, Michaelis Boyd, has designed the guestrooms, lobby, cocktail bar, and lush rooftop bar, while Rockwell Group, the award-winning firm by David Rockwell, designed the restaurant and underground lounge. Moxy Lower East Side will feature touchless kiosk check-in, cleverly designed rooms, tech-savvy amenities, co-working space, a well-equipped fitness center, and three flexible meeting studios. Leeding Builders Group is managing construction of the project.

Cambria To Add First Western New York Hotel With Niagara Falls Groundbreaking

Cambria Hotels, an upscale brand franchised by Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), continues to expand around the country with the official start of construction on the Cambria Hotel Niagara Falls. This is the fourth hotel to break ground in Q4 2021 and tops off a year of growth across the brand with new openings in popular cities like Louisville, Orlando, and Napa Valley, as well as an additional hotel in Nashville, and a fifth hotel in Washington, D.C. The 120-room hotel is expected to open in the Spring of 2023.
