Jeff Stewart has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Milwaukee City Center

Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a nationally recognized owner and management company and division of The Marcus Corporation, today announced that Jeff Stewart has been promoted to general manager of the landmark Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Stewart returns to the property where he previously served as hotel manager, bringing with him more than 20 years of hotel management experience, including eight years with Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Nicole Acosta has been named Artist in Residence at The Pfister Hotel

The AAA Four Diamond Pfister Hotel, owned and managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, today announced Nicole Acosta as its 14th Artist in Residence. Acosta, a proud first-generation Mexican American and Milwaukee-based visual artist, storyteller, and photographer, will begin work in The Pfister Hotel's lobby-level artist studio on April 1, 2023. She will succeed current Pfister Artist in Residence and pataphysical illustrator, Christopher T Wood.

Dana Johnson has been promoted to General Manager at Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel

Johnson has more than 25 years of experience in hotel group sales and has spent the majority of her career at Marcus Hotels & Resorts. She most recently served as executive director of sales for Marcus Hotels & Resorts' Milwaukee market since 2021. In this role, she managed the sales teams for the company's three Milwaukee properties - Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel, The Pfister Hotel, and Hilton Milwaukee City Center - while developing new members of the sales teams and maintaining strong relationships with several key corporate accounts. Prior to this, Johnson held various sales management roles with the company and its portfolio. In her new role as general manager of Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel, Johnson will manage the 219-room property in the heart of the city's entertainment and theater district. She will lead the team as they invite guests to experience the arts in new ways, like through the hotel's multiple gallery and exhibition spaces, numerous culinary destinations, as well as nightly live music and performances.

Katie Neufeld has been appointed as General Manager at The Journeyman, a Kimpton Hotel

With an inspiring trajectory, Neufeld brings great knowledge and experience to her role as general manager of The Journeyman. Formerly the general manager of Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield, Neufeld will work closely with Cassanos and Tremble to ensure the overall success of property, hotel and guest satisfaction and strong execution of day-to-day operations. Career highlights include opening Hotel Landing in Wayzata, Minnesota. Located on Lake Minnetonka, Neufeld joined the opening team in 2016 where she undertook and led the hotel, restaurant and spa team to its success even beyond its opening. Neufeld exceeded projected pro-forma revenue and occupancy during her time with Hotel Landing. Notorious for taking on challenges, Neufeld was also part of Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York in 2003 where she oversaw the daily operations of 770 rooms that generated in excess of $90 million in revenue annually.

John Cassanos has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at The Journeyman, a Kimpton Hotel

Cassanos has over 30 years of experience in the dining and hospitality industry. Throughout the years, Cassanos has left a mark and instituted high-standards at many prestigious establishments such as Wolfgang Puck's Postrio in San Francisco, as well as The Biltmore Room, Lever House, il Buco, The Royalton Hotel in New York City to name a few.

Christopher T Wood has been named Artist-in-Residence at The Pfister Hotel

The AAA Four Diamond Pfister Hotel, owned and managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, today announced Christopher T Wood as its 13th artist-in-residence. Wood, a Milwaukee-based pataphysical illustrator, will work in The Pfister Hotel's lobby-level Artist Studio for one year beginning April 1, 2022. He will succeed current Pfister artist-in-residence and conceptual abstraction artist, Nykoli Koslow.

Sadie Kealey has been appointed as Market Director of Sales and Marketing at The Marriott, Westin and Springhill Suites Milwaukee Downtown

The hotels include a combined room count of 580 and available meeting space of more than 20,000 square feet, as well as two locally inspired, award-winning restaurants - Stella Van Buren and East Town Kitchen + Bar. Kealey most recently worked as a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing with First Hospitality, a company she joined in 2015. In this role, she oversaw sales and marketing teams representing Hilton, IHG and Marriott, in both full-service and focused-service assets. Prior roles for Kealey include sales leadership responsibilities at Heart of America Group, Carslon Rezidor Hotel Group and Springhill Suites by Marriott.

Kyle Highberg has been appointed as General Manager at The Westin Milwaukee

Highberg most recently worked for Marcus Hotels & Resorts as a Director of Operations at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Prior to this role, he served in General Manager roles with First Hospitality and Crestline Hotels & Resorts, including serving as an Area General Manager for four hotels and three F&B outlets in southeastern Wisconsin. One of Highberg's hotels earned Hotel of the Year from First Hospitality in 2020. Highberg is a graduate of Bellevue University.

Ben Risseeuw has been appointed as General Manager at Milwaukee Marriott Downtown

Risseeuw most recently served as the General Manager of the Springhill Suites Milwaukee Downtown after relocating from the northern Chicago suburbs in late 2018. In Schaumburg, he served as the Dual General Manager of the Residence Inn and Springhill Suites Schaumburg, and as Assistant General Manager at the Hilton Garden inn Schaumburg. Before joining White Lodging, Risseeuw served in various leader roles at Aparium Hotel Group and Marriott International. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.

Steve Martin has been promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer at The Marcus Corporation

The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS) today announced the promotion of Steve Martin to chief human resources officer. In this role, Martin will lead the corporate human resources function and become a member of the company's executive management committee. Martin will also continue to oversee human resources for Marcus Hotels & Resorts, where he previously served as vice president of human resources.

Skip Harless has been promoted to Managing Director at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark

In his new role, Harless will oversee the AAA Four Diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, both in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He previously served as general manager of the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma City.

Derek Morrison has been promoted to General Manager at Hilton Madison Monona Terrace
