Lisa Hatem has been appointed as Director of Sales at Montage Residences Kapalua Bay

With seasoned real estate sales experience and a proven track record of success in project sales, Lisa Hatem will lead all sales efforts for Montage Residences Kapalua Bay. Hatem secured over $800 million in real estate transactions for more than 400 buyers over the past 13 years. She joined the Montage Hotels & Resorts family from The Residences at Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado, where as Director of Sales and Managing Broker for the past six years, Hatem and her team contracted and closed an average of $60 million a year in sales.

Richard Holtzman has been named Vice President, Managing Director at Montage Kapalua Bay

A seasoned hospitality executive with more than 30 years of experience, Richard "Dick" Holtzman oversees management of all operations for Montage Kapalua Bay. Holtzman joins the Montage Hotels & Resorts family following his most recent position as senior vice president of Pyramid Hotel Group, where he managed the company's resort portfolio since 2011. Prior to his role at Pyramid, he spent seven years as the President of Kukui'ula Development Company, LLC, (a joint venture of Honolulu based Alexander and Baldwin and Scottsdale based DMB Associates) a 1,000-acre luxury resort and residential community in Poipu on the South Shore of Kauai, Hawaii.

Ekrem Tercanoglu has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Resorts Lanai

Tercanoglu, a 16-year veteran with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, has worked in management positions throughout Europe, Egypt and North America. Ekrem makes the move to Hawaii from the Five Diamond and Five Star Luxury Resort the Grand Del Mar, in Southern California, where he served as director of food & beverage. Prior to The Grand Del Mar, Tercanoglu was with Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence as the director of food & beverage. His past Four Seasons experience also includes positions at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach and Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles. Originally from Turkey, Ekram is a graduate of the prestigious Private Professional School of Hotel and Restaurant Management in Istanbul, where he earned a bachelor’s degree.

Mark Burson has been named Resort Manager at Aqua Kaua'i Beach Resort

Burson returns to Hawai'i (Kaua'i) from the Embassy Suites in Montgomery, Alabama, where he was Assistant General Manager. Prior to that, he held various senior management positions at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk and Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort. No stranger to the kitchen, he was Executive Chef at Hanalei Bay Resort and held chef positions at Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa and the Westin St. John. He has also worked abroad at locations including Malaysia, Guam and Germany.

Pam Cabrera has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Outrigger condominium resort division

Outrigger® Enterprises Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Pam Cabrera as director of sales and marketing for the company’s condominium resort division. Cabrera was most recently general manager of the Outrigger Luana Waikiki. In her new position, Cabrera will provide leadership and coordination to the Outrigger condominium resort team working closely with island-level management, individual property teams and corporate marketing and sales resources in the development and implementation of new plans and programs to grow revenue and achieve goals for the division. Cabrera began her Outrigger career in 1990 as a student intern working as a front desk clerk at the Outrigger Maile Sky Court. Within two years, she joined Outrigger on a full-time basis as an employee relations and staffing clerk in the company’s Corporate Office. Over the years, Cabrera has worked in various management capacities, including assistant manager, hotel manager, and product manager. In 2003, she was named assistant general manager of the Outrigger Luana Waikiki and, subsequently, general manager in 2006. Cabrera holds a BA in psychology from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and is a member of The Navy League, Friends of Hickam and Soroptimist International of Honolulu.

Nathan Decker has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at The St. Regis Princeville Resort

Decker brings more than ten years of luxury hospitality experience in Hawaii to his new role. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Group Sales for the Maui metro market. His responsibilities included direct supervision and execution of group sales strategy for three Starwood properties. Prior to this appointment, Decker worked in a sales leadership role at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui and the Park Hyatt in Los Angeles. He began his hospitality career at the Hyatt Rickey's Hotel in Palo Alto.Decker is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University in Pomona with a Bachelor of Sciences in Hotel Restaurant Management. He is an avid sportsman, and completed the 2011 IRONMAN Triathlon in Canada.

Jim Heather has been named General Manager at Honolulu Airport Hotel and Best Western® The Plaza Hotel

Heather returns "home" with this appointment following a year in Phuket, Thailand, where he was resort manager for the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort. While in Southeast Asia, Heather helped implement the pre-opening plan for the Laguna property before assuming responsibility for the resort's operations after its opening in April of this year.

John Yeadon has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Maui

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa announces the appointment of John Yeadon as the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the 806 room resort. A seasoned hospitality professional with 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Yeadon brings to the resort a strong knowledge of leisure travel markets and a history of sales and marketing successes throughout the industry. Yeadon has been with Hyatt for eight years, most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. A graduate of Indiana University, Yeadon began his career at Hyatt as a Corporate Management Trainee, gradually rising through the ranks over the years, serving in Indianapolis, Denver and Minneapolis. As Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Yeadon oversaw two renovations totaling 50 million dollars, as well as an expansion of the property.

Simon Amos has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage at Hilton Waikoloa Village

Amos has more than 20 years in the hotel industry and for the past five years was the director of operations for Hilton Beijing. Prior to his position as director of operations, he was the food and beverage manager at Hilton Beijing where he oversaw the turnover of 55 million RMB, and the operation of seven dining outlets, two ballrooms, nine meeting rooms and catering.

Simeon Miranda has been named General Manager at Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber Resort

Dean Nakasone has been appointed as General Manager at Outrigger Reef on the Beach

Nakasone has an extensive background in hotel management with Outrigger Hotels and Resorts. He joins the Outrigger Reef on the Beach from his most recent position as general manager of the Holiday Inn® Waikiki Beachcomber Resort, an Outrigger-managed property. During his time there, Nakasone transitioned the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel to the OHANA® Hotels and Resorts brand in 2005 and then to the Holiday Inn® brand in 2010.

David Martinez has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach

Tom Donovan has been appointed as Managing Director at Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

Donovan brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry recently serving as the vice president and general manager of the The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua where he led the 463-room hotel’s $167 million renovation. Prior to The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, he served as general manager for The Ritz-Carlton Resort, Bachelor Gulch in Edwards, CO, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Phoenix, AZ.

Scott Boyer has been named Director of Sales & Marketing at Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

Boyer will lead and direct the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to maximize Grand Wailea's service and profitability. Boyer's ability to aggressively identify opportunities, develop focus and provide tactical business solutions has resulted in several high-profile positions in both the United States and Asia. Prior to Grand Wailea, he served as director of sales and marketing in five-star hotels including Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai and Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta; Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel, The Ritz Carlton Osaka and JW Marriott Seoul.

Masaki Sakamoto has been named Asia Sales & Marketing Representative at Four Seasons Resorts Lanai

Sakamoto, a veteran in the Hawaiian hospitality world, joins Four Seasons Resorts Lanai from Aviareps Marketing Garden where he served as director of Hawaii Tourism Asia and was responsible for overseeing and directing Aviareps Marketing Garden operations throughout China, Korea and Taiwan. He handled public relations efforts, which included media visits, newsletters, familiarization visits to the Hawaiian Islands and numerous promotional efforts among travel partners. Sakamoto also held executive marketing and sales positions at Korea Tourism Organization, InterContinental Hotels Groups, Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau, and Hawaii Visitors Bureau.
