AKA Opens Second Boston Location in Six Months, Hotel AKA Boston Common

AKA, a global leader in luxury hospitality, continues its growth with the opening of Hotel AKA Boston Common today. This is the brand's second hotel in Boston and sixteenth property in the portfolio. Previously Kimpton Nine Zero, the 190-room hotel will undergo a design refresh, while open for stays, to ensure all the touches of AKA and characteristics of the vibrant downtown neighborhood are incorporated into the property. Hotel AKA Boston Common will showcase design that is chic and eclectic, as well as exceptional amenities. Adjacent to the Boston Common and many of the city's most notable historic landmarks, the State House and Financial District, Hotel AKA Boston Common offers a mix of short-term and extended-stay accommodations.

Drawing upon experience acquired in pastry departments in some of the leading luxury hotels in the United States and independent restaurants in Boston, Goluszka will oversee all pastry operations for The Ritz-Carlton. He will design and curate desserts for the hotel's onsite food and beverage outlets including Artisan Bistro and Avery Bar, and will also oversee menu creation and desserts for banquets and social functions, in-room dining, and guest amenities.

Located in a prime spot overlooking Plymouth Hoe, Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth will be equipped with a skybar, offering panoramic views of the world-famous natural harbour Plymouth Sound. Hilton's first property in the British port city, the 150-guest room hotel will be located close to historical sites including the Royal Citadel and Smeaton's Tower lighthouse.
