Andrew Falter has been appointed as Director of Group Sales at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa

With more than 30 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, Falter bring extensive knowledge of the Mid-Atlantic, New York, and New England association markets to Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. Prior to this role, Falter was founder and president of Sponsorship Reliance Group, a company designed to assist associations with growing sales revenue. He was previously the director of association sales at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and has held leadership positions within Tishman Hotel Corporation, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Falter is also a member of American Society of Association Executives and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), having served on the 2014-2015 PCMA Capital Chapter Board of Directors, as well as the Sponsorship and Membership Committees with the PCMA Capital Chapter. A graduate from Michigan State University, Falter participates as a mentor in the University's Spartan Mentor/Mentee program, volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, and is an active member of Toastmaster's International.

Today, Hotel Equities (HE) announced they have been selected to operate The Island Beachside Resort by Hotel RL in Fort Walton Beach.
