Algeo's global expertise has focused on delivering integrated design solutions comprising strategy, planning, landscape and architecture. Algeo's global design portfolio includes the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa; Quinta do Lorde in Portugal, King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia, Casi Cielo, a next-gen community in Bocas del Toro Panama and Tay Bac Master Plan in Vietnam. His current efforts include Distrito Rivera, a large mixed-use urban destination in Monterrey, Mexico, Balihan, a mixed use Ski Resort and Village in China and Rixos Saadiyat Island, a premier all-inclusive luxury resort currently under construction in Abu Dhabi.

Walker joined WATG in 2010 and has over 20 years of experience as a licensed landscape architect. Throughout his eight years with WATG, Walker has tripled the size of the Irvine landscape studio with over 130 projectsin both international and domestic markets. Walker's portfolio includes work in North America, Mexico, Middle East, North Africa, and China. Recent completed work in California includes Lido House in Newport Beach, Vista Collina Resort in Napa, and the Monarch Beach Resort Pool Renovation in Dana Point. International work includes urban mixed-use projects in Dubai, Monterrey Mexico, and China along with hospitality projects such as Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos and Nobu Cabo in Mexico; Rixos Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi and the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton at Galaxy Macau.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Unveils First Modular Construction Hotel

Home2 Suites by Hilton, part of Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) All Suites portfolio, continues to be an industry-leader in the use of innovative building techniques announcing that the brand will open its first hotel using modular construction in early 2019. Developed by Southern Hospitality Services, LLC., and constructed by Akshar Development Inc., brand executives gathered yesterday at the future site of the Home2 Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport North for a staging ceremony where pre-fabricated elements of the hotel were put into position. The hotel represents the Bay Area's first modular build hotel, and the first Home2 Suites by Hilton modular build.

Joerg Rodig has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco announces Joerg Rodig as the General Manager to the downtown luxury hotel. Most recently, he was General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Whistler. A dynamic leader whose reputation as an innovator has made lasting impressions with his team, Rodig brings more than 20 years of global hospitality, food & beverage, and finance experience to the property.Rodig will lead all aspects of the recently redesigned hotel operation, as well as stakeholder and community relationships. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel features California cuisine at MKT Restaurant-Bar; complimentary access to the best fitness club in San Francisco, Equinox; and a central location from which to explore the city. Born and raised in Germany, Rodig grew up in food and beverage, with parents and grandparents in the restaurant business. He knew as early as age 10 that it was something he wanted to pursue. What began as a Room Service Assistant Manager position in Boston, morphed into positions in finance departments at Four Seasons properties in Nevis, Austin and Palo Alto before moving to Vancouver as Director of Finance in 2009. In 2014, Rodig was promoted to Hotel Manager in Vancouver, where he was prior to Four Seasons Resort Whistler.

Mehdi Eftekari has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley

Thirty-year Four Seasons veteran Mehdi Eftekari will lead the team at the new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley, anticipated to open in 2019. Well known to many Four Seasons guests on both US coasts, he was most recently General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel New York, and prior to that, spent many years as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Anne Marie Doyle has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Montage Laguna Beach

Doyle joins Montage Laguna Beach from The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, where she was director of sales and marketing and focused on transitioning the former Bacara Resort into a luxury Ritz-Carlton. Alexander has worked for properties such as the award-winning San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara and Rosewood Sand Hill in Silicon Valley, working in a variety of roles from Guest Services Manager, Revenue Manager, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, and Director of Outlets. He brings experience working through multi-million dollar renovations to driving sales and revenue at F&B outlets to his new role with the InterContinental San Francisco.
