In her most recent role as director of guest services at The Clancy, an Autograph Collection in San Francisco, Bianchi led her team to success with an elevated approach to service by implementing next-level training, launching a Loyalty Mindset program, and driving a coaching culture to support young leaders. Bianchi brings her inspiring vision and passion to her role at Marriott Irvine Spectrum and she is responsible for leading day-to-day room operations with the goal to provide impeccable guest service and one-of-a-kind luxury experiences.

Nelson Sanchez has been promoted to Executive Chef at Marriott Irvine Spectrum

As Marriott Irvine Spectrum's previous executive sous chef, Nelson Sanchez brings more than a decade of culinary experience to his new role as executive chef of the hotel's diverse outlets, including Heirloom Farmhouse Kitchen and Hive & Honey Rooftop Bar. Passionate about sharing his culinary repertoire, Sanchez has brought both creativity and innovation to his menu development in his previous position and naturally transitioned to his new leadership role. As executive chef, Sanchez is tasked with developing and executing seasonal menus that focus on California-inspired, responsibly sourced cuisine. Prior to joining the Marriott Irvine Spectrum team, Sanchez served as chef de cuisine at Hotel Laguna in Laguna Beach, California.

Che Sutton has been appointed as General Manager at Marriott Irvine Spectrum

Thoughtful and dynamic in his approach, Che Sutton brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to his role at Marriott Irvine Spectrum. Sutton is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property, utilizing his leadership expertise and inventive skill set to further elevate the guest experience. Sutton has held various positions across the Marriott brand portfolio, including Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains in Arizona, the Los Angeles Airport Marriott and Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach in California. He held key leadership positions and mastered his knowledge in various areas of operations, food and beverage, renovations and concept branding. Prior to joining the Marriott Irvine Spectrum team, Sutton held ranks as the dual general manager of the Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn & Suites Tustin Orange County.

Danielle Shear has been appointed as Director of Operations at Mar Monte Hotel

Shear also boasts an extensive hospitality background, having led teams at hotels across the country, where she consistently met and exceeded goals in the areas of guest service and experience, as well as community engagement. Most recently, she helmed several HEI Hotels & Resorts properties as Task Force General Manager including The Westin Minneapolis and Hotel RL Baltimore. Within HEI Hotels, which manages Mar Monte Hotel, Shear is also a member of HEI's Women in Leadership Council, which was created to promote positive career growth among women leaders and advance gender parity within HEI. Prior to that, she served as General Manager at numerous properties in Washington, including Red Lion Inn & Suites Federal Way in Washington and Sutton Suites in the greater Seattle area.

Taylor Miller has been appointed as General Manager at Del Mar Beach Hotel

Del Mar Beach Hotel, San Diego's luxury beachfront hotel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Taylor Miller to the position of general manager. In this role, Miller will oversee all operations for the 46-room California coastal hotel and its three residences. She will also work closely with the management team at Azul Hospitality Group to strategically grow the overall revenue for the property. Miller is an energetic leader who brings with her a depth of knowledge in guest services and hotel operations, as well as a true passion for hospitality.

Patricia Kimball-Guterres has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Mar Monte Hotel

Kimball brings over 20 years of experience to her new role as Director of Sales & Marketing, including opening and rebranding numerous properties in Central and Northern California and Hawai'i. Her exceptional knowledge of the hospitality industry coupled with her outside-the-box creativity has contributed to her solid history of success. Most recently, Kimball served as Director of Sales, Catering & Marketing at Hilton Garden Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta. Prior to that, she worked at multiple hotels in Hawai'i including The Laylow, Autograph Collection; Prince Resorts Hawai'i; and The Modern Honolulu. Her previous experience also includes sales roles throughout Northern California with Bernardus Lodge & Spa Carmel Valley; Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay; and InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco.
